    Tiana b tsv 30/1/13

I like the colours and the simplicity of the style but I have a feeling that the fabric will be cheap and thin and cling to all the wrong places. I never buy clothes from Q these days, I have done in the past and with the exception of one Centigrade coat I have regretted and returned...

    New Presenter - Round Two

the trouble is that regardless of how engaging and competent any new presenters may be it will not distract from the fact that the products are very samey, the schedules are boring and repetitive and the p and p is extortionate. The whole enterprise needs a complete overhaul.Rather...

    New presenter eh...

I like her, articulate, not a shrieker or a boaster, confident without being irritating, seems to be in possession of a varied vocabulary, all seems good to me

How many of us are wearing our Slankets tonight?

I made loads of soup and guess what? have frozen portions of it in my Q purchased bowls with lids and handles!! forget what they call them but I use them all the time, I might slag Q off but those bowls are in use all the time and are one of my favourite buys from them.

i've got those pull on rubber things with sharp studs on them, got them from amazon last winter and never used them. we have about 4 inches of snow here and my little street is on a slope and turns into an ice rink very quickly. Wore them for the first time over Skecher boots and they...

How many of us are wearing our Slankets tonight?

I am looking very fetching in my fuchsia pink onsie from Dunelm, velvet covered hot water bottle from Boots and blue slanket from Q. Have made some lovely leek and potato soup in the slow cooker and am going to read all afternoon, very cosy and loving having an excuse not to...

    Ingrid what are you like?

I just don't think that the Yong Kim stuff is very flattering on a more mature woman such as myself, I know that I would look like a bag lady in layers of aysymetrical drapey layers. On a younger women I reckon it could look alright .

Careful, now, you'll have her eye out....

I can't fathom out how women with pointy sharp nails manage to attend to their "intimate" needs such as changing a tampon or wiping their bits after going to the toilet and it must be a risky business for a baby having a nappy changed by a mum with talons! My nails grow very fast...

who is going to provide the brain?

a mate sent me a great card, it was a cartoon entitled "ideas meeting" with a figure standing at a flip chart, pen poised, saying "say what you think" and one of the participants has a speech bubble with the immortal words "f**k you"

oooh vodka, love it love it love it!! going to have a look for Grey Goose, sounds wonderful. Now back to the topic of the thread, Diet Chef, I have never tried it but have battled with my weight on and off for most of my adult life. Have done Slimming World twice, the first time it worked...

Please tell me Cashmasoft is rubbish...

I once bought a cardigan from this range and it was horrible, thin and patchy looking and very badly finished. I think my local market would have been ashamed to sell it. I reckon baby sick would soak straight through! I sent the offending garment back needless to say.

    Pippa's Slurred Speech

so agree with you Weathergirl, I used to find Q quite relaxing to watch but there is now so much screeching and amazement and general frenzied exhortation to "buy it now!!!" that I watch it less and less. So if it is a policy it has had the reverse affect on the likes of me. I miss...

    RJ is back ............

i am gobsmaked by the prices, i get my plants from our local indoor market, brilliant quality and so cheap, they do ready planted hanging baskets in the summer for around £6, trays of sweet peas for £3, and all the usual stuff for a very similar prices. My hardy fuchsias that set me...

    P&p p&p p&p

what really hacks me off is that the p and p is in teeny weeny little text compared to that used for the actual cost of the item, the easy pay figures and the flashing limited stock thingy. I sometimes think my eyesight is declining even faster than it actually is as I squint to see...
