Having read this with all your rave reviews and the ones on the qvc site I have purchased some liquid gold so will hope for the same good results. One question 'ST.com beauty consultant' - I have started to notice small wrinkles appearing under my eyes - I am 47 (so I suppose this is to be expected) and use the gatineau melategine eye cream but have mainly concentrated above and to the outer corner as was more concerned about getting crows feet and hooded lids. I do find that if I use a cream under my eyes that it makes my mascara run. Do you have any suggestions for a good eye cream for this problem.

Thanks for all your advice Karina - you really must take over from AY she spends so much time 'pawing' over the guests that they dont have time to tell you what to do with the products. Then on every product she will say this is the best - how can they all be the best?? Also they don't always tell you how to fit all the different products into your regime. Your responses are so much more informative.

I will get some defi-lift eye stuff for night time and will put the melategine on the bottom more as per your advice - I love my gatineau I use the whole range the gommage and the firming throat gel is great. I used to like decleor until they changed the toner a few years ago the original brown one was lovely.

As for the mascara I used to use the Rimmel 100% waterproof one which was great but you needed to scrub so much to get it off with all of the waterproof removers I tried that I stopped as I thought that this would not be good for my eyes - so now I stick to a non-waterproof which I don't have to rub to get off.

I hope that the liquid gold works for me - can't wait for it to arrive now.

Once again many thanks.

Karina,

I agree - the worst thing about AY (apart from the horrible squeaky voice) is that she keeps interrupting as you say just when the guest is about to tell you what to do with the product - this is soo annoying. Also I have sent text's to ask how to fit some of the gatineau products together and she always ignores them even though they go along the screen!

Once again many thanks for the advice.
Rose

Thanks Karina, I'll give it a go then and I'm tempted by the sound of how you use your gatineau eye creams too, I'd never have thought that I could put them all over the eye as we're told so many times by AY to stick to the orbital bone but I have fine lines above that so this may be the answer! Do you use it right up to the lash line?

hi there momad ,
yes what a fab question , ok yes you do use liquid gold on the neck , i have and my neck is as smooth as anything , hope this helps momad, xxkarina ,

Hi Karina, do you find that LG stings more on your neck than it does on the face? I love LG on my face but the skin on my neck seems a lot more delicate and sensitive than my face, so I've not dared using LG there yet for fear of irritation... Thanks!

MUQ How long would you say a 200ml will last using 4 times a week, any idea at all?

hi SS, yes you can put liquid gold on the neck , but your right the neck is abit more delicate than the face, the face is abit more thicker in the skin thickness, but the neck is thinner , it will sting on the neck but it will go away once the skin has got used to it , it did with me , some people find it dont ,
well a ive used it along time , i dont find it dont sting at all , the only time i find it will sting a little bit is when ive given my face a good exfoliate ,

so yes just try it i know its abit scarey because it stings but it is ok and it will do that , but it will wear of ,in a short time ,

Hello, Karina, may I please ask a question about Liquid Gold. I have been reading all the posts about this product and I just wonder if it would help me.I have developed a really bad skin in the last few years.(I lost my husband and I think that may have something to do with it) I have developed large pores, spots and some patches of very dry flaky skin. Do you think this product would help me. I know this is a bit cheeky as I am very new to this forum but I have been spending a fortune in Boots trying all sorts of stuff that doesn't help at all. And everyone here reckons you are better than AY on QVC so thats good enough for me! Thankyou.

At first I found it stung on my neck but that seems to have worn off after using it for a few weeks but funnily enough it still stings around my nose. Maybe that's because i have more open pores there for it to get to work deep down on! lol does that make sense MUQ?

Thanks for the advice MUQ! I'll try LG on my neck too and see what happens!;) Buttercorn, MUQ is indeed our Alpha H resident expert, so I would definitely wait for her advice, though IMHO, it does sound like you may benefit from LG. I have large pores and combination skin prone to breakouts and LG has definitely helped with that... Good luck!

Hi Karina i was talking to Dazzler today and she told me how gorgeous she was, trouble is i'm as ugly as sin, could LG help me get a bird as fit as her ? Many thanks :D

awww you are not ugly bet you are not, I know one thing Snoops you have a big heart!

HI buttercorn xxx.............of course you can ask me a question. you can ask me any thing you like , ime pleased you have been looking at the posts it gives you abit of understanding of the products , can i send you my my deepest sympathy for your lovely husband , it can cause things to come ou on the skin when things like that happens ,
your skin is the ideal skin with open pores and spots and dry skin , alpha h range will work perfectly for you , and it will get rid of those open pores, and it will get rid of those spots too and should bannish that dry skin too,

buttercup dont worry its not cheeky asking at all, it dosnt matter how new you are you have just as much right to ask as any one whos been here ages , so its ok , ask away ,

i
youve done exactly what ive done over the years , along time ago , tried this and that but nothing works from shops , how ever if people can find something that does work then brilliant , but my self ive been very disapointed , so i turned to buying products from qvc when they first started , and ive never looked back , for me you cant beat qvc for skin care ,
as qvc products are more proffesional and can be stronger , but the more expensive ranges in the shops are ok may be too ,

thank you for saying that ime better than alison younge its very funny LOL but i wouldnt say so ime just some one whos got alot of info whos willing to help people ,

anyway buttercup i hope this helps you ,
good luck ,
xxxkarina

Karina, thankyou so much for your kind words and advice. I shall jump in with both feet and order some of the LG from QVC. Its fairly expensive but then I have wasted an absolute fortune on stuff that never worked anyway. I shall do that now and will get back to you in a couple of weeks to let you know how I get on. Thankyou once again for your kindness. Love Buttercorn.

Hi guys, I did the 'neck test' last night, and - of course! - Karina was right... I did worry at one point as my neck seemed to have gone a bit red from using LG on it, however, I decided to just go to bed and not worry about it. Well, my neck was lovely and smooth this morning, with no redness nor any other sign of irritation. I then thought I'd try Liquid Harmony on my neck as a morning treatment and got no reaction whatsoever... So, I am now looking forward to a smoother neck!;) Cheers Karina!
