And my hubby says I have too much make-up! I now need to tell him I need more.

of course you can dazzler ,ok right get your cotten wool pad ok , i tip it up 3 to 4 times ,
on to the pad , wipe it over the face, and you may find cos of the cotten wool pads , as they seem to soak up to well , you may need to tip some more on another 1 or 2 times to finnish of round the throat and neck , get the bottle and tip it quickly dont leave it tiped up , as you never neeed to soak that cotten wool ,
other wise its a complete waist
just make sure you can see the skin looks wetish , then you know youve put enough on.
you may feel it any way , and also make sure you get in to all the little places like around the nose and in between where people get the no 11s,

its hard to descibe when writing it ,
hope this makes sence

Thanks Sweetie!

Oh, you will already know this of course, but there is a show on Monday at 10AM and one at 8PM.

In the mean time, I ordered this.

Item number 225990, can never do QVC links, so hope this works!

Hi Marion, I've been thinking for ages about ordering some Liquid Gold so, I've decided to copy off you and I've ordered that item number, aren't I such a copy cat?

Rosey's LG Dairy Day two:

Did again last night on its own and this morning under my gatineau. Still think it makes my skin look better already. Will report back.

Karina one question: I usually use a quick spray of eco tan on my face every couple of nights as I get quite tanned naturally but use lots of spf on my face (good girl eh?) so my face won't get too many wrinkles. Therefore my face is naturally not as tanned as my body so the ecotan makes it match. I am finding that with the LG it is making my face paler (probably getting rid of the eco tan out of the pores) - how can I fit my ecotan in the regime as it is starting to look too different to my neck and arms etc.

Also did the fish face thing this morning - not sure the look was too sucessful. Do you use a very pale (whiteish) highlighter on the top or a lighter bronzey or pink colour. I waited till my hubby was out of the room or else he would think I was going a bit mental.

not a question MUQ, just a little limerick about our expert on Liquid Gold!

There once was a girl called Karina
Whose skin stunned whovever had seen her
With her Liquid Gold
She'll never grow old
'Cos her wrinkles get tinier and tinier!

Carolxx:D

That's great fairynuff! With your poetry and Rosey's dairy posts this is soon turning into one of the funniest thread on ST at the moment! keep 'em coming!:D

Thanks Karina, What I did was yesterday as it was sunday and I had a lie in I didn't do the LG as I thought it would not be too long till I did the nighttime dose. So I used a couple of sprays of Ecotan. Figured I will try to do a spray every couple of days and miss the LG on those days. I was a bit worried about the two chemicals reacting might end up green or something.

I have found I have a few small spots appearing especially on my nose but then i think that this is drawing them out as it is supposed to. Other than that I think it is still looking good.

I've just bought the eye complex gel. Has anyone used this before, and if so, does it work without being over-drying? It seems to be popular on qvc so I'm hoping it's going to deliver like the liquid gold does.

the eye gel is okay but I found it was nothing special and did not repurchase. Also if I remeber right it is not that cheao either.

In my opinion the Liquid Gold is WAYYYY over rated , although it doesnt even rate 4 stars on QVCs ratings.

My 22 year old daughter had to be referred to a Dermatologist after trying this ,and her consultant was horrified . He even asked what 'RUBBISH ' she been putting on her skin. So its back to Eve Lom for Miss Hutt.

DD has had to endure 3 sessions of cryothermy , each a month apart, and will still have to have more after using this product, so be WARNED if you think that these spots are caused by Liquid Gold drawing them out!

BTW there is an 18 week waiting list here for an initial Dermatology referral, but my sister is a nursing 'sister' at the Regional Dermatology outpatient department so DD was seen inside 8 weeks THANK GOD!!

OMG! What did it do to her skin?

PG she started ,after one use ,with a single spot which developed into an area of hyperkeratinization which progressed into hyperkeratosis, which naturally required urgent cryosurgery.

I know that I am a nurse, with a science degree, but I'm sure that you understand these basics hun.

Her Consultant Dermatologist said that she would have done less damage using PAINT STRIPPER :eek:

So please err on the side of caution :fume::fume:

That's awful, the cryosurgery is going to be really tough on her too. Has it left much scarring, or has she been 'lucky'?

Thanks for the input about the eye gel complex.

Did either of you use an eye cream on top of the gel? I only ask because I'm sure that I read instructions for this and it states that you need to use a cream on top so I'm wondering if that would improve the end result?

Unfortunately I got carried away with the hype and 'limited stock' sign (again!) so I'll give it a try now that it's on it's way.

OMG Jabba that is awful, it just shows what damage things can do. I hope her skin is Ok now! I have to say I can use the liquid gold and it's fine but it just shows how important patch testing is and also I don't agree with the veiw that it draws spots out, IMO no product should cause spots and if it does it doesn't agree with your skin. Thanks for the warning Jabba. x

cant wait for my liquid gold to arrive!!!!! I use Liz earle and will use the liquid Gold three nights a week on its own and see how I go. Its trail and error I think.
