Used it last night on its own for the first time it did not sting hardly at all I thought the improvement was good straight away. Used it this morning under my moisturiser and make-up (halo) as per Karina's instructions and I think my skin already looks smoother or maybe it is just me thinking this.

Will report back in a few days with more results - it is a bit like my personal diary here - maybe I should start a new thread Rosey's Liquid Gold Diary (Oh it is early just spelt that dairy - good job I re-read it)

Well done rosey!! Glad you had such istant results! I've been using LG on my neck too, and it seems to be coping fine with it and it does feel lovely and smooth...

Karina, I have a question for you: in your reply to rosey's post you say that we should keep LG on the face for 5 mins before applying face creams. Why is that? I usually put on my LE superskin moisturiser as soon as the LG or LH are dry. Am I reducing the product's effectiveness by not waiting long enough? TIA!

HI YU SILLY SAUSAGE , well why you have to leave it on for that 5 mins is so that it drys for one thing and then it gives the skin a jump start for the liquid to start working , ime flad yours has been ok SS, xxx karina

Except, now I have the inevitable next question, do I need Liquid Harmony as well?

I must stress that I have no problems with my skin, just want something to keep it in a good condition and fight against the signs of aging (borrowed that line from a TV add ).

To be honest, I think you can easily make do with just the liquid gold, Marion. I have the liquid harmony just because it came in a special deal kit that was very good value, but liquid gold is more than enough to get your skin in shape, in my opinion... Good luck with it!

always make sure you leave the liquid gold on for about 5 mins, befor you apply any face creams ,

tell you the best thing i love on my skin, is any thing hilighting , i love face hilighters and when your skin is smooth with alph h , hilighters look fab , i cant get enough of them ,

Hi again Karina,

I used it on its own at night down my next too - no probs. This morning I waited my 5 mins as you instructed. One question is do I still need to use my defi-lift redefining serum - this morning I just went straight to my defi-lift moisturiser (then eye cream and throat gel) as I thought I would have too many layers otherwise.

Re the highlighting - I use halo which has a bit of a shine - when I have tried highlighters I always seem to look to shiny and 'sweaty' and I never seem to get the look they do on tv or in mags.

Marion, if you really can't bear the wait, there usually are a few LG bottles on dale on ebay, which look like bits from QVC kits that people don't want and therefore sell off, so it might be worth a look...

Although I normally use the defi-lift serum that is more because I like the texture than the results - I don't really notice too much difference. So maybe I will stop - I can save money and just use the Liquid Gold instead.

MUq just ordered Liquid Gold 100ml because 200ml is waitlist. Now the rule is always put the gold on first before my Liz earle Moisturiser or serum or oil, thats right is'nt it. And did you say wait 5 minutes before applying anything on the top. Thanks

awww fab dazzler good for you , yes that correct dazzler you got it in oneLOL
yes its liquid gold let it dry 5 mins , and then your oil or balm , then on goes your face cream , dont forget , 3 nights a week just use the liquid gold on it own as an intensive treatment , you spread that out , just pick 3 days of the week ,

Can I just ask MUQ How much do you need to use, do i just squirt a little on the cotton pad and spread over my face, or do you need to drench the cotton pad?
