Surprised Henry came back!

Some years ago when QVC started doing the meat hampers they came from Buccleuch and they were excellent. Then they switched suppliers and it started going downhill from there. I used to buy them and that was me sorted all over the festive season but the quality eventually wasn't there. I'm sure if you talked to your local butcher (ok, if you have one) they would sort you out a meat parcel for more or less the same price and you'd know it would be top quality.

I am shocked they still do the meat for Xmas. Over the years so many let down. A few will pop up and say,"oh, I had no problem, and it arrived and tasted great for Xmas."

Me too, after the last programme with AP and Henry, towards the end of September, when Henry walked off early - see my post no 106 of this thread. The whole programme was uncomfortable viewing. I assume Henry's back because they shift a lot of stuff and money counts more than being poked fun at. Why does QVC condone this?

Andi Peters brings nothing to the party!! Why is he still on QVC? I for one would never buy anything that he is presenting, even if I wanted it, the fact that he is trying to flog it, means its a No from me! Surely I can't be the only one?

Could he have a contract with QVC that has yet to expire? He's an unlikeable type and it seems many people think this too. Was he ever an engaging personality? If so, has he just got conceited and too big for his boots? I only know him as a BA for food.

I don't fancy any of Althams meat at all, especially the low meat content sausages! Totally overpriced frozen offerings imo.

Are the sausages mainly made with fillers?

Sausages are 75% pork, stuffing meat 48%! If I buy sausages I go for a minimum 90% pork. Don't often have them though to be honest.

I can't understand how anyone would trust them after what's happened in the past. I remember the posts on here over the years, where people were badly let down with large orders for Christmas. Some people were still trying to sort it out into the New Year.
