Yankee Candles TSV 15/5/14

Not a Yankee candle but I brought a selection of jar candles from a range that is new to me "Temptations" very reasonable prices a small jar candle was £1.99 and they smell amazing To quote Q.
The wax has the same shimmer/marbling that Yankees have and they had a good range of sent's.
I have googled them but can't seem to find out anything about them.
I am going to stock up while they are in stock as it is just my luck that they were a one off offer.
As for todays TSV while I love my tarts my money is safe this time I can buy 20 jars for the same price and all in sent's I love.

I didn't go for it as I've not used melts yet but I thought it looked better when shown on tv than in the pictures, I reckon it would work well in a kitchen.

Does anyone know, I purchased an Auto Delivery last night 702792, I missed it when it first aired, will I get the 2nd drop at the same time as the people who ordered it when it aired first or do the 90 days run from when you order the item, if that makes any sense to people. I'm just impatient and want them all now :mysmilie_17: apparently I'm not allowed to ask this as a question on the item which I find strange seeing as customer services often answer these questions, sometimes, well a lot of the time Q does not make much sense to me!

They came from the local bargain shop Buyology .
I don't know if they are country wide they are based in Cardiff.

try e-bay these candles are delightful soy based. the scents are fab specially the foodie ones. also like the triple layered orange one

That is a tricky question JW2 as these were the first drop which came (to me) in December, or was it January?, and I then got the second drop at the end of March so am awaiting the third drop. I think you should ring them to check what perfumes will be coming and when as there are also two versions of the AD, US and UK perfumes. I got these three as shown on your number but followed by US perfumes but later on it changed to all UK perfumes!

So I think you will get the third drop at the end of June but you need to know about the second drop.....

I've just called CS and all they can tell me is the lovely Kiku, pink hibiscus and Champaca blossom has been sent out to me today and the next ones are the summer large jars then the autumn large jars and them the winter large jars umm not much help there then! It will be a surprise each time lol!

I've got the USA ones due in the tea lights and votives TSV auto delivery so at least I'll get some in those scents.

I wonder if I'll get the march ones, I guess not as they must be the Spring ones oh it's so confusing obviously even for Q :mysmilie_13: I would really like the Black Plum Blossom and I just had a smell of the sweet apple in my local store a couple of hours ago and it was gorgeous just like I had bitten into a big juicy red apple it was stunning!

Pretty unimpressive by CS then! Q should have dates and fragrances showing on their system. Obviously information relevant to your order is not something they consider important!

I tweeted Rosa, to make sure the melt tray was not removable. She replied that it isn't, but the melts just pop out and you wipe the tray with a tissue. Call me cynical but, unless there is something special about this jar shaped melt, they are not easy to remove. I use a sharp point to ease the melted wax out and, eventually, it does so. Never had one just "pop out" though.
Also they normal melts and these new shaped melts are both 22g; so why is the former expected to burn for up to 9 hours, and the latter for up to 8 hours? Or am I just being pedantic?

No they are a season ahead, so the ones in January are called Spring, March are Summer etc so you may be lucky. God knows what dates they will come though!

It's quite bad really purchasing a mystery auto delivery, an item where they can't tell you what you are purchasing! Wouldn't get that a John Lewis or House of Fraser, she says tongue in cheek but then what does it say about the purchaser lol!

Well amazingly, Craig said these melts contain Teflon and ARE therefore easy to remove!!!!!!!!!! That is all I heard though as I FF the recording for most of it.

Rosa also mentioned the tip someone posted on here about switching it on for a few minutes which makes it easy to remove and she said you could do this for the round melts but agreed NOT NECESSARY for these super-melts. Can you believe it??

I could be wrong but I think that these new melts have something in them that make them easier to remove, I'm fairly sure I heard this last night, it sounded almost like they are still trialling them but have progressed to seeing what their customers think of them.

Not watching Q much ATM and must have missed this thread.

When I realised there was a TSV electric one I was beside myself until I saw it was a tea pot. Q and YC know that all the punters are mad for the electric warmer and this is their answer? Get real Q/YC, that is so naff, proven by the fact it isn't sold out.

Is it just me or will that new shape melt be awkward for the normal warmers? Maybe they are smaller in real life.

I too have a problem opening the melts without crumbling all over the place but use a silicon cup cake holder on the non removable dish one.

My US ones should really have been with a different set for drop 1 to match the TSV of the time. My friend could not believe I had no idea what I would be getting!
