Tattoos on models

I had an Uncle who had been a prisoner in the war in Burma I think and he had been tattooed like it or not. To me it was a sign of his bravery in terrible conditions.

As with any form of art, it's all about individual interpretation. I do not deny that some of the artwork in tattoos is stunning and to be able to do something like that on someone's body is amazing. But with the passing of time things change. Fashions change, body shapes change, attitudes change and what once might have been cool / sexy / attractive becomes an eyesore.
Another way I would look at it is to say that tattoos are like graffiti for the body. The scrawled tags are hideous, the amazing artwork, much less so. Hideous or not, there is something "not classy" about etching things onto one's body.

I don't think any tattoos would be right for me because of my personality and lifestyle - that's not to say they don't work for some other people. The matter at hand is whether they look fetching on a QVC model. I would probably expect to see tattoos on an ASOS model - but QVC? No, definitely not!

It was only recently that I discovered tattoo artists use transfers ! Unlike decades ago when you could only get tattoos done in shady Soho alleys, the practitioner then was a highly talented artist who drew and inked freehand.
