Surely we will only have reached true equality when gender, race, creed, colour, sexuality, disability etc etc is totally irrelevant and not mentioned in news reports.

While it is spoken about in news reports et al it only emphasises any issues by treating it as something extraordinary, wouldn't it better to treat is as an ordinary, everyday happening?

Perhaps she retired - she must be in her mid-70’s. What’s her secret - she looked fab when on QVC.

Funny I wasn’t struck on her (LB) I found her very frumpy and it was no time before she was trotting out the old pony and trap a la Melissa and Glen.

I've yet to see a hard-up politician but seen a load that cultivate the look.
