Is the Liquid gold really that good? I have blackheads on my nose but the skin is also peeling. Do you think it would help?
I was browsing this morning and found this, currently at £1.77

Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Anti-Blackhead Deep Pore Wash 150ml, with Salicylic Acid,
http://www.boots.com/en/Garnier-Skin-Naturals-Pure-Anti-Blackhead-Deep-Pore-Wash-150ml_1357/

And more, all currently on offer

I used to use and love Biore when I shopped on high street only, my favorite was the facial cleansing wipes which I haven't seen around for a while.

I've just seen this and I'm going to go and grab it today, the reviews are very good and it's on offer.

Biore Warming Anti Blackhead Cleanser 100ml

Also, from other reviews elsewhere, retinol A cream seems to clear and tighten pores and it can be bought inexpensively.

I have the Warming anti blackhead cleanser. bought from superdrug about a month ago , Its not bad , but if im honest im not sure id buy it again.

Ive been using the Garnier Micellar water as a toner after using the clean and clear cleanser , Im really pleased with it, big size and very affordable. Doesnt have any smell, but its very refreshing to use in this warm weather..

Ooh great to hear you recommending this, have been umming and ahhing about micellar water for some time. On a major quest to get the cost of my skincare down, so this will be my next thing to try when I've used up the last remains of my "premium" brands!

Thanks for the recommendation Autumn, it gets great reviews, I am going to get some tomorrow!

Im really pleased with it, just make sure you get it on offer as sometimes the offers end on a sunday , so have a shop around , Superdrug and Asda also have it for around £3.33 too.

I've just got it from Superdrug, hope it works.
I've tried it now and was initially disappointed as it's a bit sticky and while rubbing on the face I couldn't tell it was doing a good job, so I thought that I wasted my £3. On rinsing and drying my face I checked myself in the magnifying mirror and 90% of pores were unclogged. I used a face brush with it. I'm terribly pleased with the initial result. Didn't like the texture as it's a bit slimy and the blue bits stick to the skin, but with a result like this I don't mind. Hope it doesn't dry my skin when used regularly. It's got Salicylic Acid in it as well.

I already have it but I'd forgotten about as I put it to see me side whilst I worked through other products but I'll dig it out and have a go. I don't like using products where I have to use cotton wool. Do you think I can use a microfibre cloth and rinse and wring it out.

I thought it was a toner but it seems that it's a make up remover as well. Sounds very good, even can be used for the eye area and lips.

Product description

A super efficient and gentle way to cleanse, remove makeup, soothe the feel of skin and hydrate in just one step – it’s not magic, it’s Garnier Micellar!

Beautifully cleansed and refreshed feeling skin in an instant. The formula is suitable for the face, eye area and lips, has no perfume and comes in a generous 400ml size.

How to Use
Apply the product to a cotton pad and wipe your face, eye area and lips. No rinsing required.

I think that the microfibre will suck in a lot of product.

Those Micellar Waters all are cleansers although one could think they are not. I am using the Bioderma Créaline H2O Micellar Water as an eye make-up remover and it works great, even with waterproof mascara, no problem! :)

I dont see why you couldnt give it a go with a microfibre cloth and see if it works or not :) I also use the cotton wool pads, Lidl and Aldi's are by far the best and cheapest :)

Yes i know its "meant" as a cleanser however i prefer to use a wash off cleanser and thought id give this a go at a toner instead , and almost 3 weeks later , i love it , use it at least twice a day. So in effect im getting a double cleanse , it also doesnt leave any residue on you skin which is a bonus.

I think for the price and size you cant go wrong with this product , especially if you buy it while its on offer :)

I've not seen or heard any hints on Alpha H's social media as yet.

Could do with some more microcleanse personally.

I'm a die hard Alpha H fan but have recently strayed... for those with "typical" Alpha H skin (combination, and/or spot prone) you might want to look at Clean and Clear's new Advantage range (it's basically Clean & Clear but aimed more towards adult skin than teenagers), I never thought I'd find anything better than Alpha H but on a money-saving mission I tried this, and I have! The Clear & Soothe foaming wash is really worth a look, good ratings and good concentration of skin clearing ingredients without the irritants http://www.boots.com/en/Clean-Clear-Advantage-Clear-Soothe-Foaming-Wash_1360822/

Clean and Clear comes under the Johnson and Johnson umbrella of companies, all of which perform animal testing. As animal testing takes precedence over everything for me, I do not patronise J + J products. They could be giving them away, and I wouldn't use them.
I have read many comments about Alpha H products being aggravating on sensitive skin, which is why I have never tried the brand.

Same here. I have sensitive skin that essential oils in fancy expensive brands like Decleor, Elemis etc drive my skin mad.

Are there any hints concerning the upcoming TSV? I am soooooooooooo curious!
