What! I missed this!! We're they worse than Alex Kramers??
I think they were the same ones Alex Kramer was wearing. They looked like the jeans the wee guy down the pub wears because he doesn't know what Wundaweb is.

Ben looked much better in his hour with Simon Biagi, his trousers were full length and matched the rest of his outfit.

Asda do perfectly good vests and if you get the ones with more elastane in them they don't go out of shape when washing. I got a few last year and I think they were 2 for £6. Taking them away with me this year. £25-30 for one vest is a huge amount as you're going to need at least 2. I know the supermarket ones are made in China/Bangladesh/India but if you look at the designer ones they are probably made in the same countries and more probably in the same factories.

I've found Asda tee shirts and vest tops wear well and as you've said, they often do two for £5 or £6 deals. Much better value than a couple of tee shirts I bought in Marks & Sparks last summer, and the necks went like boats after a couple of washings, really stretched and baggy - and at £16 for two I think they should have lasted longer than that. I only got them because I had a M & S voucher to use up. They ended up in the textiles recycling bag. Rubbish. I've found Asda quite good for clothing basics.

I watched this morning.
Ben was the colour of mahogany, and he was wearing skinny cropped trousers with Birkenstock slide-ons. It looked ridiculous and furthermore, his voice annoys me. 😂😬
I think that he goes out of his way to look like an artist who just throws his clothes on and ends up looking mismatched but seriously cool. Sometimes, he leaves a corner of his shirt peeking out from under his jumper to give the impression he got dressed in a hurry. Really, he's pulled it out purposely. His voice is quite nasal and whiney with the odd British pronunciation thrown in.

The reason, they said, was so that your bracelets aren't hidden by the sleeves. What rubbish.
If you watch old newsreels of the late Queen Elizabeth there was a period in the 50s/60s when her dress designers featured those chopped-off sleeves so that her expensive jewellery could be on display.
Perfectly good reason for her majesty, not so much the rest of us who don't own any crown jewels.
