Charlie said on the Diamonique Show that Alison will be off for a few weeks, does anyone know why?

He said that she's had surgery on her shoulder today. He's apparently going to pop in to see her for a cuppa some time next week.

In the blog before this one she writes about the problems she had with her shoulder & because she was scared that her illness had returned in her bones she had put off seeing her doctor. The problem is calcification that has affected her tendons. I know that Ali gets criticised for her fast talking presentations on the Q but I think she is lovely & can remember her on local radio back in the 80s.
