    When you send parcels back....

I always send them second class. Especially as they told me, I think, that it is the day you post them that has to be within your 30 days rather than the day they get them. I could be wrong about that but I think that is what customer services said.

    Here we go folks...

Only JF could think that a moisturiser that requires another moisturiser on top to actually moisturise is brilliant. If true, shows the standard by which she judges things. Maybe that is why she 'loves' so much stuff.

    Brand stigma

I think there is still a stigma about shopping tv out there, don't watch the bidding type channels but it may be justified there, can't say as haven't seen them. I mean amongst people who haven't or don't watch QVC. But I think even those people have a stronger perception of a brand itself...

    Another New Presenter

I saw a few moments of her this morning and judging by that short time I thought she was really good - not hard selling or shouting or repeating silly catchphrases. She seemed calm and pleasant so I hope they let her stay professional and don't try and persuade her to do crazy stuff...

I went and did it again...

I agree you should put the picture on FB if you can. Maybe if they think that it will become more and more common for these incidents to be shared online they will be more stringent about avoiding them. Bauble is right - they have gone on and on about how QVC clearance stock is 'pristine'...

Leighton Denny and "all them top tips"

I don't watch any of the nail shows because I only ever use something from Boots on the toenails and that's it for now. I may venture further! But I voted for OPI because I have seen it raved about on beauty blogs I read time and again. All them top tips!!! Kind of cute, kind of horrifying...

Banner Heading on QVCUK Facebook page featuring Lulu

Good point, they do keep that bit quiet. They should add 'you've nothing to lose except a huge amount of p and p'.

Shaping up to a future on TV

Margarine Burgervan leaving!! She was a bit strict but she always kind of inspired me with her tales of superfit after terrible accident/injury and giving birth at 60 stuff.

How many of us are wearing our Slankets tonight?

I have a purple blanket with sleeves which came from Lakeland, I was given it for Christmas 2011. I don't know how it compares to the Slanket because I've never seen a Slanket 'in the flesh', but it's very cosy - I've been sleeping in it for weeks!! In fact that is where I should be right...

Looks like things are all going a bit bandy at QVC?...

They phrase it kind of oddly actually - 'As you'll probably be aware, we operate a no-quibble returns policy and If you return an item within 365 days of receipt, will give you back the amount you paid for the item, or offer an exchange, whichever you prefer, no questions asked. After this...

Looks like things are all going a bit bandy at QVC?...

Things do seem to have gone downhill and be more repetitive too. Sort of related - got a Boden catalogue this morning, not a big fan of them either but noticed they have introduced a new policy - you can return worn items you're disappointed in for up to a year after purchase. They do mention...

    blabber mouth Craig

This wild predicting about when will things sell out is crazy - it won't be now, it will be in this hour, it might be later... And all the warnings about don't go out, don't decide you want it but wait for hours to order(??), blah blah, if you wait it might sell out (of course!). I know this...

    Make up question

If you've never really got into foundation, then (if you're interested in trying one), I'd recommend a mineral one like Bare Minerals. Can't vouch for the 'ready' version (that looks like normal pressed powder) as it is so new I haven't heard much about it. But for quickness, ease of...

    P&p p&p p&p

I've noticed that when they have their normal high p and p they almost never add that in to what it they say it will cost you, they either just say the item price, or they say the item price and then mutter something about p and p. But when p and p was discounted on something the other day...

My Best (I mean Worst) Christmas Present, thank you QVC

Agree Boffy, they want to get all the benefits of the internet and social networking and seeming like they are involved with their customers. But they're apparently not able to confront the reality of what that means, even on a site like this which is used by many who I would say are the...

Alison Y/ Debbie F in the Laura Geller hour

I liked the 'wavy' hair too.

    Carla fromTig.

I think she'd be ok. I don't like Basso at all, but I wouldn't necessarily single her out for that because the whole QVC channel supports him. I think she is so far less annoying than lots of the others and seems professional which is good, focuses on the products etc. Also she has quite...

    Carla fromTig.

She seems to be presenting all sorts of things now, Centigrade, Basso, Emu etc. Wouldn't be surprised if they phase her in as a presenter.

Alison Y/ Debbie F in the Laura Geller hour

Excuse random observations! I think AY is maybe better as the expert/guest than as the presenter sometimes. DF looks good I think, I like her dress. I wonder if it is QVC polyester and fabric not so nice up close! The red haired model Diana looks better than I remember, I wonder if she has...

Who lives in a house like this ??

Did anyone see the Sophie Dahl cooking show? That was filmed in a kitchen which I thought I recognised from catalogues like the white company, then I read it was flimed in a location shoot house which lots of different companies use including the white company. Online you could see the...
