He tries to manifest every so called elderly ailment and use every older age range product in the book(or so he thinks). Bunyans and carbuncles this evening. Large amounts of medications. ‘Procedures’…Bad knees, aching feet, iron jelloids, Phyllosan, Fuller’s Earth…Ovaltine…The People’s Friend…All used to endear himself to ‘the certain sort’ he sees as the mugs prepared to buy because of him, rather than despite him…

He has even managed to bring ailments into his handbag/watch pitches:LOL: one of his new favourites 'most of us could ill afford' when describing some knock off copy crap (but he's not comparing)

The afford bit not necessarily being financial but his tiny little mind won't grasp that. One thing I do know...

I can ill afford to listen to that muppet, or any of his colleagues, for extended periods of time!!

Why the constant shouting to "go to the freephone number.......get to that phone".

Is it because it looks like he's getting more sales?

When you stop to think about it (which I suspect many selly telly customers don't) the sales tactics would be more understandable if the channel was selling half decent products at genuinely good prices. Note when I say this, I'm not referring to the outright dodgy tactics that essentially shouldn't be used.

So if for example they were selling a well known vacuum cleaner for £120 and the closest price elsewhere was £140 upwards, you could forgive them for using such tactics even if, in reality, the product wasn't 'flying out!'

However they rarely sell decent products and most of their products can be found cheaper elsewhere, sometimes considerably so. This makes a mockery of using such sales tactics, however it won't stop them ;)

As I say, luckily for selly telly, some do fall for the family friendship fun guff and all it entails.
