Ahhh yes, thanks, Frigidaire.

They're still mainly all made in Japan, I think. (Dunno if China has yet muscled in?)

Many of the components (front door, insides, inner box metal cube, lining) it seems are all from same one or two factories (compare Panasonic, Sharp, Russell Hobbs, inner doors/glass grills), with the proprietary parts being the electronic panels, touchpads, buttons/knobs and outer case designs.

Have become a fan of the flatbed version (ceramic base) no turntable/rotor. Easier to clean, can fit large square dishes in if needed as no rotation, still cooks well evenly and far easier to clean out and dry.

Asda, Sharp, Russell Hobbs and others do them. Common in the catering restaurant trade at bigger/more powerful levels too.

£129.99 for a USB powered soundbar with 3 watt speakers...... are they having a giraffe?

30 watt - £29.99 - https://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/goodmans-compact-bluetooth-soundbar-30w-396542
Wtf? They were selling it on IW TV last week for £39.99. Now listed at £129.99 on IW site.

It's RCA phono jacks (only), and Bluetooth, not usb, btw. With a mains adapter power lead.

I think their site details description (usb/3W) is wrong, for another product maybe.
The 1 review is interesting, their new TV probably doesn't have RCA phono jack sockets, and soundbar doesn't do a/pdif, hdmi or scary. Buyer could get a smart/hdmi to RCA converter, but why bother?!

If you love Deep Frat Flied Froo-Froo-Flooed…Fer-Fer-Fer… Best air fryer I’ve sold since BBC Shopping World in 1984…
I just saw that. I laughed.
Have said before I think he has top set dentures, which don't help.
He was fiddling or moving them with teeth slightly last week, but not certain, couldn't see definitively.

There was a local burger bar that used to specialise in pink burgers. They got closed down by Food Standards. They fought the case but lost as the judge ruled they were selling uncooked meat.

I’m a real philistine when it comes to meat. Slightest bit of pink it goes back in the oven
Never order steak in a restaurant as if you ask it for well done it’s either burnt or brown on the outside and raw in the centre. And don’t get me started on Beef Wellington!

.
In Joe's defence he was probably cooking how he personally likes it. As much as I like him as a presenter, the same with anyone on TV, I do my research before buying the gear and will all the shopping telly hours these people clock up they are bound to cover items that are not kitchen essentials. It's like when I wander around home bargains, there are so many things I think to myself, oh there's a doohickey do I need this? My mum when she is with me says that Dunelm is like Smyth's toys for grannies because she loves to look around at all the crap, even in Lakeland there are so many items that cook food my head melts. I personally wouldn't trust those grills that go in the microwave no matter what anyone says, yet they seem to flog them, regularly. I also use a meat thermometer which is a godsend

He looks like the old gormless cu…in a John Collier suit, you hoped wouldn’t serve you in Tandy’s in 1985.
Your memory detail for things past is excellent.

Half man half biscuit, John Collier, Tandy, Dukla Prague, etc. Ad infinitum.

Have you thought of writing a memoir, or "Remember when...?" anecdotes type book?

Just what I'd want for Xmas...

Must be many reminiscences books out there I guess.

OK, let's talk about Yannis for a moment. I like to think I can be critical of people but not in an unreasonable way. I criticise all the presenters in a fair way. BS is BS no matter whose mouth it comes out of. And when people do or say something positive I always like to mention it. Remember when they first started and were cooking defrosted fish fingers that were inedible because they had been out of the freezer all day? Now we have proper demonstrations. But this man gives series creep vibes and I don't want to sound unreasonable. But having said his gym body is good genes is laughable. His patronising tone. From what I saw of him on Create and Craft, he was obviously hiding the real person. I have gotten to the point now, when he comes on, I switch off or go and do something else.

Reminds me of when Dennis Price (Louis Mazzini) left his incriminating memoirs on the condemned prisoner table in Kind Hearts and Coronets after a last minute Pardon..

I would have no problems if the lot of them were made redundant especially Mason. His ego needs a realty check
