tbh when it comes to food, even when eating out, I prefer what most would consider basic stuff. Give me fish & chips, steak & chips, steak pie & mash, that sort of thing.

I can find no mention of that anywhere.

You beat me too it, was about to post something similar.

And you won't find it, cause he died before Shield existed.

The reason they've probably come out with this rubbish is because Shield use a quote from Cousteau on their site which has nothing to do with their watches, just something Cousteau said about diving. One of the stupid IW kids has probably seen his name on the Shield site and concluded he must have approved of Shield watches and wrote that quote specially for Shield.

BTW

Cousteau did own watches, Omega, Doxa, Rolex, Blancpain. So even if Shield had existed during his life I highly doubt they would have registered on his radar, or maybe sonar would be more appropriate.
