love my old dyson. had it now 8 years at least. never broken down. had a miele cat and dog rubbish imo lasted just over 2 years. have a g tech air ram. my fav cleaner ever. with dysons you dont have to spend over £200 to get a good cleaner. for what carpet cleaners do they are worth the investment.

I have a cheap vax, that is only any good for floors,I got it after being a Henry owner for over 10years! Ended up buying another Henry!

Yeah,he is very good value for the money too. When every i have seen discussions online about vacuums he always seems to get the thumbs up!

Yes Henry is good. My mother had one for about 10 years. She would use it almost daily and it never had a problem.

The handheld Dysons have a two year guarantee. It's only the mains powered models that are guaranteed for five years.

My elderly Hoover gave up last. Week and our cleaning lady suggested a Henry Hoover, it's the type used by professional cleaners in offices etc, it's excellent and very energy efficient and so quiet, it picks up everything inc long cat hairs and reaches right into corners. I got it for £99 pounds at John Lewis with free next day delivery and a free 2 yr warranty It's an excellent cleaner without any gimmicks etc the cute little face which you can remove if you want but I think it's very cute.
I'm glad I resisted the dyson hype because none of the professional cleaners I've employed have recommended them

Gosh Im so tempted, as having just an upright oh!-wreck, I need a vac with a hose option (or a nose option) lol Especially since my butler with a 6 pack has now relocated... cleaning myself and I'm no longer having late in bed mornings.. :mysmilie_17:

Take pity everyone:blush:...
