I am keeping an eye on the site, just in case the stone Franka goes down to 70% - I have it in black cherry and love it so much.

Sounds like we're all checking the site daily! First one to spot further reductions let us all know :sun:

I envy you Craftology. I really do think the Franka is my fave design.

Thanks Tashsaw, that was a find! Have been looking all over! Will bear in mind but it's a bit steep when I can see the sale prices in comparison  lol

Oh dear ladies. Dear oh....

I just opened my July newsletter to see that Lulu is on Le Q on 18th and 19th July

Am having another look at her website at the new range, hopefully my money will be safe :wonder:

Although, if any of the leather bow Annabelle's are on easy pay then I'm done for!

I know! I spotted that a couple of weeks ago. We are out on the 18th (I'll be home in time for the evening show!) but I've now booked the 19th off work too (I know, I know!!).

I agree though, nothing in the new range is really speaking to me (not keen on the librarian thing) although I do like the little patent clutch (think it's a Fifi?).

Reckon after hitting the sale I'll be good but I still like to watch

Need? Need? What's that?!! Haha!! I never 'need' another handbag, I WANT

Go on, treat yourself! Although, I am hanging in there until the studded Annabelle comes down to 70%, £118 I think I worked it out at

Seconded!! That is exactly what I say to my Mum when she says "did you really need another bag?"!!!

I wish I could take off work on 18 and 19. I wll have to have a sneaky peak while at work or maybe record them so I can watch them when I come home.
How sad am I?:wonder:

Omg girls, I thought earlier that I would book one half day, or at least try to work from home at those times!! We are officially mental :screwy: haha!! Love it!!

I shouldn't be watching/spending either, but it *is* an anniversary show and we all Know what anniversary shows bring don't we?! :D

By the by, does anyone use anything special to clean their bags? My stone patent quilted lips Jenny has black dye on it from being ever so lightly pressed up against it's black twin :( I emailed LG but they just recommended taking it to a specialist cleaner. My white Tig is also a bit manky after a weeks constant use on hols! Any recommendations?

Hi, re the cleaning: I use patent leather spray for the patent bags and leather cream on the regular leather ones. They both protect more than clean but I reckon, with a bit of elbow grease, you'd get the marks off. You can also get leather cleaner too, any shoe repair shop would probably sell that. Good luck.

P.S. What do anniversary shows bring? I'm really hoping there won't be anything that's "too good to miss" as I'll be struggling to justify it, even with my most twisted logic!!:taphead:

I hope they have some 4 easy pays otherwise I won't be able to buy anything.

On a earlier thread I remember someone mention that they use the radley cleaner and it worked well for all their bags but radley only recommend using it for their bags

I am going to buy this next week and try it on my stone purse, will let you know if it works for me.

I guess Radley would say that, wouldn't they?! If it's leather cream/cleaner then surely that works on leather, not just Radley leather?! We buy ours from hardware stores (comes in a blue plastic bottle, forget the brand) but we use it for shoes, jackets, the suite, etc., etc.

Thanks for the tips PP :star: I will get some patent cleaner as I have a couple of scratches on my cherry doll face wanda.

The fifi clutches are so gorgeous...

My patent cleaner is a spray can and came from a shoe shop. I always ensure new bags are "treated" before I use them, in case they get wet or anything. I'm sure those scratches will come off if they are only light ones.

Seems we all have similar tastes doesn't it? The Wanda, the Franka and now the Fifi!! :sun:

Hi all what was your first Lulu bag?

Mine was the patent black Franka and I have been hooked on her bags ever since then.

Anniversary prices!!! And hopefully easy pay. Thanks for the tip, will have a scoot around next time I am in town.

Me too, or at least 3 pay. Am hoping for some new designs on easy pay, or even better something on anniversary price and easy pays, hehe! Don't want much do I?! :cheeky: Some new Franka's would be nice. I could also be tempted by the red or navy polka dot if on easy pay again. Talking of polka dots, on her blog she has some black & white polka dot pieces - arrr, love them!!

Okk ladies, hands up, who is selling their studded Wanda before it even turns up?!!

Nice little profit there! If I knew they would sell I would consider doing the same, but am too scared to part with the cash in case I can't off load it, hehe! I spotted quite a few items on the bay that have come from the sale. Clever people :sun:

Not guilty. It's seems quite risky as I am sure people would look on LGs webiste and see that the price is £195. I guess if you can't sell it you could always put it in the present drawer and give it to sisters, mother, children's teachers etc..

Black and white polka dots peices sounds lovely, they have my name on it.

The jenny bags are faboulous. I have a small black petshop jenny and a stone leather one as well.

I think no one makes bags like LG. They are pricey but the look very different from the norm and if looked after they keep their value.

The only LG bag I am slightly dissapointed with is a burlington arcade bag I bought last year. It was supposed to be indivually numbered, hand signed by Lulu etc but when I got home I noticed it wasn't. I thought I was getting something extra sepcial and compared to my other LG bags. l I phoned CS and they said they had made a mistake in the email they sent about the bag.

My first Lulu bag was a black satin/velvet evening bag but it must be somewhere around 14 years old. Bought from her shop I think. The old memory is not what it was lol. I know I bought it in the sale and it was one of the simplest styles in the place. I've used it loads. It's not obviously a Lulu though.

I regret not buying the pink patent Franka when I had the chance. I dithered over the fuchsia Jenny (is that the boxy oblong one? In nappa leather?) but am so pleased with my Mulberry small Bayswater which I chose instead. Well I say I chose. I was saving up for it but my son bought it for my 50th birthday pressie. I do still like the Jenny but I couldn't have both. I couldn't ****** afford both!
