I've just got the 2 scarves I bought for £9 each from the LR website sale - both really nice. I always look there first.

Lucky you. I saw a couple on there I liked for £9 but sold out before I got chance to buy them :(

Your Mum will be able to claim the initial postage of each item and receive a full refund provided she emails QVC prior to returning them, when she pays for the return postage she could put them in a large padded envelope with all the returns forms included and pay for one postage. Might not be such a bad idea after all :)

Thank-you for this. Very kind & helpful of you. I will make sure she does this (and try with all future items she buys & sends back too).

Well I have absolutely no willpower! When I saw the coral and the blue I decided I did like the rock crystals in each so have bought both, along with the grey yesterday! May have to eat beans on toast for a while!:mysmilie_14:

I really, really don't like the use of base metals in the new lines - I think it cheapens the look.

Oh the QVC website has gone done and Jill has said that she can't give updates on items. I bought too many of the TSV bracelets and wanted to get a pair of earrings as well, but the system has issues and I cannot order any. Phone is downstairs and hubby's smart phone is under wraps ... oh well ... hope the 'summer surprise' price is available in the morning ... I wonder if the TSVs will look as good in person as on TV. No discipline!!:mysmilie_10:

I agree, although I dont own 1 piece
I wonder if the metal findings are tarnish proof, because if they do rust, the value of these items will bomb

Gosh, they are expensive. Are they manufactured within UK or imported from China?

I doubt the metal beads will last beyond a couple of years as they will eventually react to perfume, sweat and natural oils in the skin, soap etc and then the piece is ruined.

I've got Lola Rose necklaces which date back to when they were only in larger department stores and had the carved flowers etc - over a decade later and they are still in perfect condition - which I doubt can be said for the new stuff.

So glad I'm not the only one who's surprised at the price! I'm not a fan (I don't mind Nikki but I can and do make the same things myself easily and cheaply and just don't buy into it as brand) but I am really shocked at this bracelet costing £24 inc postage! I only saw ten minutes but thought I heard nikki say that the metal disks are brass plated? (Or maybe she meant plated brass?!)

Pleased for people who buy and enjoy them, they are pretty but I just wish I could teach people a bit of macrame and/or just how to string and finish beads with a Chinese knot and you'd be away ;)

My TSV and matching necklace were posted yesterday. Yay!!

In the real the blue looks stunning. The neutrals too. Happy with my grey mix though as I had time to think about what I wanted and what it would go with etc.

For someone who doesn't wear neutrals a lot I am always drawn to LR neutrals. Odd that one.

I take my hat off to you Loopy Lou. I can't get that knot as neat as LR for love nor money. And I have tried.

There is something about the LR pieces though. I bought knock offs on eBay and knew as soon as they arrived they weren't genuine. I reported it to Lola Rose and the seller has been shut down. I'd have been happy with the bracelets. Well I was happy! But not happy they were being sold as genuine when they weren't.

The base metal puts me off, too. Also, there are such bargain prices on the LR website, I would feel I was being ripped off, even though this particular item isn't available. Can't remember the last time I bought any LR.

Lola Rose has used metal beads in the past. From about five or six years ago. I've got two or three bracelets. Back then she used silver and they didn't sell well because of the price I think.

To me its my fun jewellery. I don't really buy much in the way of costume jewellery. I mainly wear precious metals and this works well alongside. I quite like the metal beads but mainly stick with the pure semi precious stone pieces.

Don't forget that if the metal beads do tarnish quickly QVC offers a full year guarantee and you will get your money back. I sent back a rose gold plated ring after 11 months about a few days and they refunded me in full.

thier plating is really thin. spoils the ring. i have some of the silver plated in gold not great quality

I don't actually like the necklaces and bracelets with silver or gold beads inbetween so won't be ordering.

How on earth do you manage to buy anything from the LR website?
I've just been on there & can't get anything to work.

Half watching the 7pm show & again, again, again the confusion with colour names.'Order the Navy & you will get the Grey' WHAT? don't bother. If I was Nikki I would go ballistic with this confusion which seems to be on all shows?

I have resisted buying any Lola Rose today - not like me at all - probably due to the fact I don't have any money at the moment. Thank goodness I did not see anything I liked, or my resolve would have weakened.

It will be interesting to see how the metal in the TSV holds up as I have a Marylebone bracelet which has the silver metal beads and they have tarnished and look awful now!

It's just ridiculous isn't it? Half the QVC buying dept must be colour blind.
