Total quantity of handcream in this tsv is 50ml. A large 150 ml tube of the shea HC is approx £19 so that`s about £6.33p worth of handcream included.

They will say it is worth about £9.30 as fragrance handcreams are £14 for 75ml

That would have been a useful Xmas TSV, what's the betting they'll be telling us to buy them to put away for Xmas?

It is more of a gift to me than something to buy for yourself.

So all-in that's £27 bar the shouting as a TSV, and over £30 on the normal price - when P&P is taken into account.

So over £3 per piece at normal prices, so a full 30p reduction per item for the TSV. Wow - that's such a great reduction - that QVC buying power has clearly made a huge impact... NOT! :mysmilie_365::mysmilie_503::mysmilie_514:

I love L'Occitane, and I've bought some super kits from QVC, quite recently in fact, but this needs to be a bust as a TSV to give all involved a wake-up call.

Outrageous cheek - not a TSV! Someone's been extracting the urine IYKWIM

It's worse than that Sazza, they're saying that the hand creams are worth £15.00. (£3.00 each apparently).

That's ridiculous IMO. That makes a 150ml tube worth £45.00. They were really milking it on the launch show as well. I switched off about 20 past and DF reckoned they'd sold about 1200 of them by then!

just goes to show you can sell anything. in some peoples eyes qvc can do no wrong. so much for qvc being in decline....i dont think so!

If the fact they test on animals wasn't enough to put me off L'Occitane, the fact that they're thinly disguised sample sizes, if not smaller, would. I also can't take to Alexis, not my cup of tea.

I suppose if you're looking to kit out the bathroom in a dolls house these would be perfect.............result! :mysmilie_14:

3000 people clearly aren't reading this forum, and this thread in particular!

Apparently Alexis is expecting it to sell out in her 3pm show today, but then she and Debbie were oohing and ahhing about how fast it's selling and predicting it won't even last until that 3pm show.

to put things into perspective some customers love shopping on qvc. they believe the hype and getting parcels delivered. i suspect most of us on here do. but this tsv is a fast one. its a real con. but what can you do. i bet a lot of reviews will be negative" its too small". i dont even think debbie flint or alexis have mentioned the amount in the tubes once. people may think they are getting the 30ml ones at least.

Just what l was thinking Boffy! The people who buy them are going to be so disappointed when they receive them. It's a very poor TSV. In fact not what I would call a TSV as l think the word VALUE is missing.

and its not special either

Fortunately, on here we specialise in distinguishing between a TSV and a TSC (Today's Special Con).

Crikey its sold out! There can't have been much stock!!!!

Sold out? I haven't even switched on the TV yet!!!!!! I agree with other posters, those 10ml tubes will really disappoint and it can be hard to detect they are the tiddlers on screen sometimes too. However, I do think that whilst we superior bargain detectors (!!!!!!!!) may realise all this, someone who just wants to get an attractive looking, easy to wrap present would be very pleased! Mind you, it isn't exactly a cheap gift either.

I will be interested to see the reviews for this. Of course, there will be the big fans of l'Occitane who give it 5 stars before they even receive it, but I wonder if it will be like the June Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish BPOTM which is currently on a rating of 2 out of 5, having gone up from 1.8.
