Hi there

Just wondering if anyone has bought any foods from QVC and do you do so regularly? Is the food worth the seemingly inflated prices or is it all a con? I wonder if you didn't like the taste/texture, whether you could return the packaging after eating it within the 30 day money back guarantee :33:

My local farm shop sells Lime Tree Pies at the same price, so I save on postage.

On returns, I am sure it says you have to return the product and packaging.

Give QVC a call and ask.

I'm afraid I've not been tempted to purchase any foodstuffs so far, but perhaps would if your idea of using the 30 day guarantee to return any items I didn't enjoy was in force - what a super suggestion

Ha ha ha, I'm sure I remember in the old days, QVC used to say about beauty products.... use it all up and if you don't like the results, just send the pot back, infact I distinctly remember JR herself saying this..... now if the same applied to their food....ha ha ha

I have tried and, on the whole, been very disappointed I'm afraid.

Lime Tree Pantry - came half frozen, half defrosted and the pastry tasted like cardboard.

Seriously Scrumptious (don't think they sell this anymore) - overpriced cake which was NOT moist and rather tasteless.

The best food purchase I made were some burgers!!! I can't remember exactly what they were called, but I think we got 12/15 in 2 burger packs. I wasn't expecting much, but they were absolutely delicious!! I'm not really much of a meat eater, but I would definately buy those again. I still have about four in the freezer and we bought them back in January.

lol - Lord have mercy - we can't eat all that meat (15 burgers!) in a couple of months! I expect my sister-in-law could, but that's another story...:31:

I tried some burgers and sausage once !, think they were Beucleugh (spelling ?), have to say they tasted lovely but soooo expensive.

its all too expensive if you ask me you could get just as nice at the supermarket with their premium ranges of foods

thats one thing i've never really bought on qvc, i really like fresh food, and I don't think it'd be as fresh
