I never thought I would say this, but me too. I thought he was a breath of fresh air on QVC, he came and went so quickly.:20:

I’m even going to miss all the Daniel threads, they really have been forum gold, he really is the marmite man, never has a man been liked and loathed in equal/unequal measures.

It’s a shame he didn’t have a farewell show, but then again I might have done the unthinkable and sent in a text to wish him all the best.:8:

But such is life, you have to consider the needs of your family, and at least he got to go to the BAFTAS.

I agree with Snoopy, ive read so many posts in the past about peeps dislike for the man, and now so many peeps are going to miss him????
I for one in all HONESTY will not miss him, disliked the man from word go,and think we have very talented presenters in our own country [ give someone else a chance] but with better hair! :40:

After Daniel finished presenting an Epiphany Platinum Clad jewellery show, Julia giggled with Dale ‘Do you know there’s an ‘I’ in Platinum.....Just checking', what a B*tch!!!

She did the same to Simon Biaggi when he started out. He called her "Jules" on air and she got all huffy and told him that only people who'd been on the channel a long time could call her that! Next time round he called her Miss. Roberts in a very pointed fashion and doffed an imaginary cap. I think Alison calling her "HRH" is very appropriate! It's also odd how model Jo was ousted after calling her "Not bad for an old bird" on air.

Personally, I feel quite a few of the QVC presenters, in particular Julia, did not make him feel very welcome, lost any respect I had for that women, showed herself up as being a bit of a bully.

I never warmed to Daniel but, hey, it takes all sorts.

As for Julia, my personal opinion is that I really would not like to spend any time in her company. Just can't warm to her either and god knows she's been around long enough.

I only caught him presenting a couple of times and he seemed no worse than most of the presenters and a lot better than some.

I didn't see anything wrong with him either, thought he was amusing when he raised his eyebrows at the camera.
Sometimes it's easy to add a negative comment when everyone else is doing it!

Julia - stop being a bitch and being up yourself all the time, we know you're queen bee - in fact everybody does, just leave it there.

Jill - eat more because you are too skinny and your face is beginning to look skeletal, not a nice look.

Allison Y - stop shouting, and stop overtalking your guests, we are people not horses who need to be yanked up midstream

Richard J - are you looking to win an Oscar ? too theatrically overthetop daarling, your arms and head are everywhere; and wearing jeans - pleeeese you're too old for those.

Charlie - putting your hands together in a sign of prayer, - a bit too often. Practising for the priesthood are we ?

Glenn C - dress it up, dress it down - a little white T shirt and jeans - is that really the extent of your vocabulory ????

Anyway Daniel, if that is you, be happy with your family, lifes too short to be miserable, and you dont want to get typecast with the above lot now do you ???!!!!
