Is there a generic hour that makes you turn over straight away? Gardening? DIY? Electronics? Beauty?

Personally, any time I see 'Household Helpers' I reach straight for the remote. A close second is 'Your figure solutions', what does that even mean??

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Most of the clothes hours are excruciating.

In general though I'm not sure which is duller - a show which is generic or a brand-specific hour. It's great if you have a good guest or guests (like Jan Springer or Yankee Candle's Rosa or Stephen). But generally the killer factor on an hour is the presenter.

I used to quite like when they did QVC selection hours on a regular basis... they'd keep you guessing about what they would have on the shows. Far more interesting IMO.

Anything to do with Diamonique. Its so predictable and every item looks the same .I don't care which celebrities they have to try to boost it, its boring.

Gardening and DIY I never watch .

I rarely watch at all now; and sad to say, but because Q is like watching paint dry, there is bugger all of interest to write about on here either ! so with that, and all the ads covering my log in box (yes I've sent a private message but had no reply), then my visits on here are becoming rarer than hen's teeth.

All of the above! Any show can do it as they all appear to be on a carousel and just bring the same products in rotation on every airing.

My main turn offs are Yankee Candles, Fashion which isn't and anything garden or DIY related. Even the beauty things I used to love are becoming less and less appealing. I too used to watch a lot, but there is little to bother with now, and that's before considering their high prices, P&P, boring irritating show off presenters etc.

Any DIY and most Fashion and anything with Abby that techy (screachy) person! :mysmilie_14:

Strangely the ones that I should switch over are the ones that find me alluring for the fact that I like to listen to how much 'bottom noise' they can make. Peony as I find Julie so very very fake and the same with Abi of ultrasun. Also most of the clothing shows, as they are too expensive for my budget, so if I was tempted (which is unlikely), then I can't be as I don't watch them!

Yes, Household Helpers
Yes, shapewear (all brands)
Gardening
Sarah Griffiths (well, it's all about her)
Jill Franks (well, it's all about her)
Debbie Flint (well, doesn't need saying)
Easiyo (I'm allergic!)
Any tech show
Gatineau
Decleor
Anything Christmas related in June

Brissles - I agree with you the ads covering the log in box is extremely irritating ... Can it be corrected?

Electronics. Yawn.
Charlie Bears. It is wrong on so many levels!!!
Diamonique. It may sparkle like the real thing, but anyone can tell at a glance that its fake. Especially when an ordinary person (me) tries to pass a big ct solitaire off as real. Very silly.
Most of the fancy skincare. My skin likes it simple.
Butler and Wilson. Cringe.

I find the makeup still mesmerises. Often for the wrong reasons. Lol
And i enjoy some of the jewellery, but not Michelle Mones fakery, and i'm currently watching Bill Skinner with horror. A kind of revamp of B&W tat. But worse.

Hours of beauty products are to me just boring, with the exception of nail products. Yankee Candles, Charlie Bears, Ultrasun, DIY are all a no no for me too. I remember when I first 'found' QVC it was never groundhog day like it is now.

What is making me annoyed at the moment, which doesn't take much, is the annoying 'connect now' button which I cannot get rid of on our Humax. I go through the motions to get rid of it, press OK, and for a whole 10 seconds it disappears off the screen, and then back it comes. It is driving me mad. If anyone has anyway of removing it please let me know.

I can't stand anything with the Gnome or Alison Young for yew. Her scratchy voice has been getting on my nerves for yers. I'm also not keen on anything featuring that awful guest with the Samantha Fox type of voice.

I remember back in the early days you had generic hours called QVC Selection, Around the House and Make Life Easier, but could never spot any difference.

I remember the presenters used to say they used to like the QVC Selection hours, as it was a lovely mix, for them.

The only hours which are simular these days, are the QVC Sale hours, where they do a mix and match

I was advised to send a private message to Graham, which I did, but haven't heard anymore. The Adchoice ad is still covering my log-in name, so I have to guess at typing it in, and then the password spots appear, but the "remember me" cant be accessed at all, so I have to keep logging in when I do bother to look on here.

I'm glad its not just me that this is affecting.

Did you use the contact us link at the foot of the page or private message from your profile? Whenever I've had cause to contact Graham using "contact us" he responded very quickly.

Biggest turn offs for me would be Gardening, DIY, Hi-tech Toys and Electronics, Household Helpers, any Cookery / food shows, any exercise shows, Bethlehem Lights (this actually deserves a place far higher up the list!), Ultrasun, Dyson, Diamonique, Christmas in July, Charlie Bears... Find most of the fashion shows entertaining for all the wrong reasons!

PS Forgot the Lunchtime Show!

The only time I'll keep a gardening show on is if that hunky guest from
Thomson and Morgan is on there :mysmilie_17:
