Boring generic hours

I agree with all the previous posts, imo QVC gets more boring every day. I have a quick look see now and again just in case I am missing something. Take todays TSV... do we believe JW got that face just by using her products, I would say not. I am so bored of all the beauty shows...

I agree, I stopped watching/buying a few years ago, apart from the awful service and expensive products, there seemed to be a continuous loop of Gatinooooo, Elemis, Decleor, Hoovers, Honora, Lola Rose with even more expensive products dotted in between, so I stopped watching/buying and decided to cast my shopping net out and never looked back.

I have got bored with the Q too. The Gnome irritates me, I cannot abide people who just stands around not doing anything like he does and get paid for it.
He also gets far too much QVC time to plug his products!

I do not like the beauty sessions because I don't believe the guarantees they give out.

We all know we need to clean our faces, and need to moisturise our faces.

I do not like the way that most make up artists keep plastering more and more products on already made up faces.

I would believe them more if they actually applied make up on models who have the face made up from scratch , clean, unmade up faces.

Those pictures of "before" make up, before hair products, do not impress me a bit , because it is so obvious that faces are made to look oily and shiny and the lighting adjusted to make them look unflattering .

Models' hair are messed up, back combed to look unruly in "before" pictures.

The worst con is when they force the models into underwear far too small for them, so that panty lines , bra lines, fleshy hanging outs are achieved.....and hey presto, they look fine in those "control" wear!

I hate to watch those demos of "blackened" oven doors, pots and pans, come clean after using the cleaning products.
Anyone can see that they ARE NOT the usual grime, but gravy powder or coffee powder or something similar applied to look like grime.

I can't bear that Peony woman with her gestures and " I am upper crust" accent, if she is so well off and live in such a nice house, what is she doing selling flowers on a shopping telly?

I cannot stand Abby and her "air" of " I am THE expert on sun protection products"

Don't like Jill Franks with her gasping saying that she "loves" and uses everything she presents.

I am not keen on Charlie bears guests, I can see the £ signs in their eyes !!

There are a few more pet hates, but then I ask myself, "why watch a shopping telly at all"

All of the above! Any show can do it as they all appear to be on a carousel and just bring the same products in rotation on every airing.

My main turn offs are Yankee Candles, Fashion which isn't and anything garden or DIY related. Even the beauty things I used to love are becoming less and less appealing. I too used to watch a lot, but there is little to bother with now, and that's before considering their high prices, P&P, boring irritating show off presenters etc.

I absolutely agree. How many times can the presenters sniff candles? How many times do we need to be shown how to put things into a handbag? How much slap can you rub onto the back of your hand? Fashion shows - oh enough said.

I was advised to send a private message to Graham, which I did, but haven't heard anymore. The Adchoice ad is still covering my log-in name, so I have to guess at typing it in, and then the password spots appear, but the "remember me" cant be accessed at all, so I have to keep logging in when I do bother to look on here.

I'm glad its not just me that this is affecting.

I don't have any problem in my iPad because I am logged in all the time. But at present using Mr L's iPad and have to keep logging on and it is near impossible.

I did find if you tried to reply to a thread it takes you to the bigger log in boxes in the middle of the page which is very easy to use.

I don't think it helps with the beauty products that they consistently contradict themselves with info for how to / not to use the products and some of the info they give to customers live on air / question answering is usually so observed I cannot believe they get away with it
