Carved Clam Shell. Just when you think you've seen it all. Lindsey's shocked face saying "How?" when the price drops from £1499.

How? Because these things wash up on the beach of Clacton-on-Sea day in, day out Lindsey.

Dave: "They're all selling out"

Really Dave? So why is it still showing as available?

Just seen the bangle. Not one of their better showcases. It's rather boring isn't it. No fancy colours, not really, nor patterns. And the others, so far, are run of the mill. All 'carvings' seem to be almost cardboard cutouts. Like these mass produced items that there is only one of: they make a mould and pour resin in it over and over and over ....... And another thing. How many people walk around with a torch to 'glow' the jewellery? Imagine one of the most valuable items of jewellery on one of the richest people and 'they' say, hold on, I want to show you how it glows. My torch is in my pocket.

I touched on this somewhere: maybe here, maybe not, but I'm adding. DT said yesterday he wasn't on Gems 'today'. I look, as I occasionally do, at the JM app. Guess whose on there? Yup. Him. And guess what? JM is also partaking in the 20th BD. So, that's GC, Gemporia and JM all 'celebrating' the birthday. Would either of the other two have JM BD all over the place on their birthday? I doubt it. Yes, I know it's all the one company, but that's not the point. Each individual 'part' was 'birthed' at a different time, so why should they all celebrate the same day? It's my birthday in January, my mother's in July and my brother's in December. I know what, I will have 'my' birthday three times a year. How stupid is that?

Doesn't take much to wind me up does it? Just mind where you stick the key. ;)

I really like Kate, so I was horrified by how easily she extolled the value of fissure filled rubies. I know several people who, trusting their claims, bought fissure filled rubies from Gemporia only to later learn that they are basically worthless.
I don't trust any of them! However, I'll leave Jeff off that list. He tries to rise above the everyday negativity and just does his own thing. I wonder what he REALLY thinks though! 😏

He was one of my favourite presenters, but I rarely watch these days. I’m sure he must agree with the Party Line, otherwise he wouldn’t have come back after the redundancies.

Everyone has bills to pay.

Jeff says just enough to keep his bosses happy without going down the route of patronising viewers by insulting their intelligence.

Unlike Jess Foley and Lindsey Carr, who are gobsmacked at everything they sell and have "never seen anything like it", "can't believe" what price its going to, and encourage everyone to buy the gold tone shite on screen because, without "giving investment advice", tell everyone to invest because one day it'll be worth more than Buckingham Palace.

Apparently today is their actual birthday.

Did anyone see the cringeworthy display of the lopsided birthday cake on a fragile table, that looked like it was about to give way at any moment, earlier today?

Ironically, Jake hasn't been on during the birthday event - but he came out to cut the cake..........

They brought in a load of people to stand around and cheer while Jake cut the cake - presumably call centre staff, producers and directors.

It all looked a bit forced and amateur.

Despite it being the official birthday, Steve Bennett didn't make an appearance. He really does come across like he can't be arsed with the channel now other than to flog health products.

My favourite part was when, whilst Jake was mid-flow in conversation, a member of staff bought out two balloons - and placed one directly in front of him while he was talking, hiding him from view.

I hope we see more from that member of staff. It would be great if she could do the same every time Dave Troth is on air.

Another favourite part is when the '2' balloon turned around - and it looked like a 'S' on screen.

For a brief moment, it looked like 'S' and 'O' were showing on screen.

All it needed was another 'S' at the end to spell out 'S' 'O' 'S' and I think it would have been perfect and quite apt for the channel :D
