Some of it looks OK - but it's all a bit 'recycled new-agey, biker chic, trailer trash'.

The orange-y lady presenter puts me right off and it's way overpriced.

What have they done to this range - yuk. I really used to like this range but everything I've seen so far today is tacky looking IMO. Anyone agree?

I definitely agree on the tacky front (though don't know what it was like previously so can't say if it's just this stuff in the TSV hour show being any worse than it was before!). It is crazily over priced and the guest keeps making a big thing about how it's all 'hand made' in Holland - all they've done is string various balls of a silver-coloured metal on with a couple of tacky crystals and some 'charms' in predictable heart and butterfly shapes... The lady presenting it seems sweet enough but every time she says something about a "classy boutique" it makes me think of the very opposite. Excuse my grumps, not in the best mood tonight ;)

The prices are a bit extreme for base metal. I love the style though and wouldn't mind paying extra if they were in sterling silver, who would seriously pay so much for these? Do they make your skin go green or irritated ? Do they contain nickel?

As with a lot of costume jewellery with a brand name nowadays the prices are high. Mind you most of the pieces are huge so would cost the earth in silver.

Don't know about the nickel but I've never had any problems as regards going green or anything like that.

my silver needs constant cleaning as it oxidises. the bibi range does not. its also a very substantial weight and in silver it would be very pricey. if it were not a good range it would not sell out so much. its popular with a lot of people. I agree the prices are not cheap but its not a cheap range. it should last a long time like all good jewellery

I like it but will not pay the prices. Jewellery is not supposed to contain nickel anymore. I think there was some legislation quite a few years ago. I have a nickel allergy which the knee specialist told me to always declare.

I don't think I have a nickel allergy but the bibi range does not go brassy/green/black on me so its a good investment. I suppose its if you like it enough to pay the cost. its not cheap but if it lasts and you enjoy wearing its worth the money

I just think it's way too expensive for base metal. You can get very similar styles on the high street for much less.

I bought some m&s looky likey bibi when it was first aired and it caught on all my tops spoiling them and turned a funny colour of green and black. if the base metal mix of the bibi range is a good one and it keeps its colour for years and years its worth it to me. they do say its their own mix and so far so good its a keeper. will not buy dozens of stuff though as its quite samey but its a nice addition to ring the changes in you jewellery box

There's a lovely range available that has been mentioned on here previously when Bibi Bijoux stuff gets discussed, a lot of its silver and it's really lovely, last time it was mentioned and I had a look I promised myself I'd order something next time I had some available funds, and then forgot all about it. Of course I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. No doubt someone will be a love and remind me...

It's Annie Haak you are thinking of.
I have several pieces of Bibi Bijoux, and have worn and worn then and they still look like new, I love the range. Well some of it anyway.

The range doesn't appeal to me at all and all the pieces look the same to me. The guest reminds me of the wife of the only fools and horses character boycie!

Strange Bibi Bijoux guest

What an odd lady! Her voice! She sounds like she's p*ssed! Her make-up! Her rubbery face with its fixed expression! Maybe she's been using Lulu's Time Bomb!

I bought Annie Haak stack of bracelets when someone mentioned it last time - excellent quality, beautiful packaging, fast delivery and more importantly sterling silver at the same price as the Bibi stuff. That said, i am quite drawn to the wind - thankfully now sold out!
