QVC Italy often appears on my credit card bill for items purchased from QVC, some still say UK but often it is Italy.

I agree. My Mum was telling me that she had a phone call from the fraud department from her bank last week about a transaction from Italy, that turned out to be QVC. I have never seen it myself though on my statements.

Yes, lots of transactions on my card say Italy. I think QVC are in many countries including China.

Is it for products which come from Italian or other Eurozone retailers? Maybe it's more financially and administratively efficent this way - to handle the transaction from Italy? Would make me wonder why Italy rather than QVC Germany though...

Or, perhaps there's a benefit from exchange rate fluctuations?

Could there be any benefit from perhaps more relaxed financial regulation? I imagine Germany is quite strict, and UK is seemingly tightening up as well.

Perhaps like a lot of overseas companies trading in the Uk, there are tax advantages (like, some not paying much at all) to have their registered offices abroad.
