Aaaargh. The resident beauty expert and Abi Cleever are on live. TV off immediately, I’m not a masochist

Git, had to take a look to see what you meant.

Now I am concerned that even having a computer will age me. Think I best just live in a dark damp hovel with no windows and never venture outside.

Thank you, Donna. Asthma runs in our family and I remember being woken up several times when I was a child because one or other of us had to be rushed to hospital, so I know I took a risk but so far it has paid off for me.
My nan had asthma and sulphur was a trigger, she couldn't eat eggs or even be in the same room if there was a boiled egg there.
I get asthma with sulphur but not eggs ,diesel,I can sniff red diesel users, hubby says VAT inspectors should employ me.😁

There’s a documentary on Channel 4 on 4th March. “Skinny jab scandal”.
Starring all the presenters on QVC perhaps? I saw Katie Pemberton today and she's another one that looks like she's lost a pile of weight. I know people could have lost it by dieting and exercise, but everyone?

I saw Sharon Osborne on TV very recently and she didn't look at all well. That should put anyone off heading down that route. I felt really sorry for her and I hope she's OK. Yes she's very slim but she has aged by years in her face.

I think Katie Pemberton has always got her figure back quite quickly after giving birth. I think her latest is only a couple of months old.

When this drug first came to the market as a new panacea for weight loss, I knew it would quickly be used by people for vanity. Yes, maybe it helps the dangerously obese, but it's quickly been picked up by people who don't clinically need it.

I think "celebs" are all using this jab now. I saw a pic of Ariana Grande recently, and at the best of times, she looked kind of anorexic, and the pic I saw, she looked skeletal. And yes, same with Sharon Osborne. I read that Sharon has now come out and said she regrets ever having it.

The thought occurred to me that people with eating disorders are now using (abusing) this drug. In the US, especially the Hollywood crowd, if you find the right doctor and pay enough, the will over-ride ethics and prescribe what you want. Scary.

I also saw Ariana Grande and was shocked by how thin she is, she was tiny before but now......i'm surprised no one has stepped in with her. Sharon said she regrets using it, but why keep on using it? It definitely done her no favours! There are so many out there now using and over using these drugs it's like a pandemic.

I think Funkinheel has got it spot on that people (especially young people) who have or may be susceptible to eating disorders will get their hands on this drug with disastrous results. Young girls especially will see all these film stars/pop stars/celebs and want to be like them. Imagine what it's like working with a group of women who are all taking this stuff and are now super thin and you're not. Even if you're a normal weight you're going to feel big. The whole thing needs better regulated or eventually someone will become hospitalised or worse.

Suddenly reminded of the novel by Jacqueline Susann, The Valley of the Dolls…
Nothing really changes…?
