When they get a good one, why do they change them? Okay, sometimes the BAs themselves might leave of their own accord, but they used to have a brilliant American-sounding Kuhn Rikon man who demonstrated well, spoke well and generally gave me confidence to buy the products, of which I have most and am still delighted with. There was one after him who was okay, but the person on today was just totally flustered and seemed out of her depth and didn't give the vibes of a premium brand. I suspect it had been drilled into her that she had to get through a lot of stuff in a short space of time and that made it worse. Debbie Flint was as reassuring as she could be, telling her how nice she looked (expensive Christmas party dress though the presentation skills didn't match up) and it wasn't easy etc but that just emphasised the poor woman's issues. If you're going to use them, QVC, get pleasant, confident BAs who don't fluff demos and can work under pressure.

It was actually quite soothing to see the old pros like Gill Gauntlet handle the demos flawlessly.

I thought the lady with the tattoos who used to have rainbow hair was the Kuhn Rikon BA. The one BA I do miss is Simon Brown.

The thing is they do not work for QVC but employed by the brand.

The blond girl who did Benefit then moved to Nails Inc. She was brilliant with the former but rubbish with the latter.

Gill got something VERY wrong yesterday.

She was demontrating LnL as usual, and the presenter asked her what the lid was made from (rather a strange question as it looked like the normal LnL plastic).

Gill replied "It's made of BPA".

I don't think it was a slip of the tongue, I think it was a lack of understanding of what she was talking about.

From google - - Some research has shown that BPA can seep into food or beverages from containers that are made with BPA. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of the possible health effects on the brain and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children. It can also affect children's behavior. Additional research suggests a possible link between BPA and increased blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

I think LnL describes their plastics as BPA FREE.

BTW It is still extremely difficult to use this site, many minutes to load eaxh post.
