    Yankee candle guest's hair

Didn't see him this time, but he had an awful side parting on a show a while ago. Looked like something from Midsomer Murders

    The Two Medusas

Trinny was very rude, I thought, to a telephone caller on one of the shows. I think the woman had maybe gone on a bit too long (cutting into selling time?) and Trinny just said 'Bye' really brusquely and cut her off. I know she's there to sell but there's no excuse for treating people like that...

Yankee Candles buy one get one half price at Clintons cards.

Saw these at my local Clintons. Could be better value than Q as no p & P

Selling like Hot Cakes, what a daft term?

Someone said giddy kipper on Corrie tonight

Selling like Hot Cakes, what a daft term?

We used to say 'Charlie's dead' when someone's slip was showing. I also remember 'Up Sam's ar** in America' which was very popular as a reply to any where question. Sometimes shortened to Up Sam's. Does anyone else remember that, or was it local? I'm in birmingham

Selling like Hot Cakes, what a daft term?

That's awful. I really liked that expression and use it myself. Guess I won't anymore. Thanks for clearing up the mystery - I've wondered so often what it meant.

Selling like Hot Cakes, what a daft term?

My mum used to say daft as a brush. Can't imagine what the origins of that might be

    Your First Ever Qvc Purchase

Cleanse and Polish. but they sent Skin Repair by mistake! Got my C & P (about a tenner plus p & p I think) in the end and used it for a few months but I found it really expensive - big decleor cleanser and toner worked out loads cheaper. I bought skin repair soon after and loved it for a while...

    Birkenstock TSV 3/5/13

I have 2 synthetic birko flor pairs and one leather - the leather are nicer, but the birko flor are fine and still look good. sometimes the fleece bobbles and a bit pokes out so i cut it off. I find the sole is the first thing to go - the cork splits.

    The most expensive item ever........

Perhaps it was the thirty day mbg that did it. She just wore it a couple of times and returned it

    Catherine on LG show.

I probably didn't put it very well - I really didn't think they were being disrespectful. I got the impression that Lulu found the style and elegance phrase funny, and that Catherine wanted to laugh at Lulu laughing but didn't in case it hurt the caller's feelings. It was just an impression...

    Catherine on LG show.

I thought it was funny when that woman phoned in. Catherine asked if she got many comments about her bags, and the caller said something like - not that many because nobody where she lives recognises their style and elegance. Lulu burst out laughing and Catherine looked like she really wanted to...

    Coalbolt blue??

Bored with is definitely correct. Bored of is used so much now especially by young people that it has become acceptable I think. I'll never say it though

Animal print. Is it me or is it always Bet Lynch?

No I couldn't justify it either. I prefer to spend on things I'll get lots of use from as money definitely is an object. I don't have a nice evening bag though, I took a really crap glittery one I got free from Avon last time I dressed up and everything about it felt horrible. I'm starting to...

Animal print. Is it me or is it always Bet Lynch?

I love animal print too, and agree less is more. I like the small animal print LG bag - if I were ever to buy one of her bags I think it would be that one

    Coalbolt blue??

I've always pronounced it coe - bolt blue. Am I wrong? I hear coalbolt so often now, perhaps it's acceptable. I'm on the cusp of giving up correcting the kids at school for saying bored of, am I going to have to stop raising my eyebrows every time Jill Franks says coalbolt too?

    Tanya Decleor

I'd definitely patch test Alpha H if you're using it for the first time, and proceed with caution - I like it and use liquid gold a couple of times a week for a fortnight every now and then (hope that makes sense!). I found using it as frequently as instructions suggest made my skin sore and my...

    Pop ups

TV companies seem to feel they can't miss an opportunity to promote themselves. It's the same with the end credits of dramas etc - you can barely see them for the ads for upcoming shows. If I half recognise an actor (think I'm turning into my nan it happens so often) I have to google the program...

    Samsung presenter

I used to quite like her. Her voice reminds me a bit of Julie Walters. Then I saw her presenting one of those things to put in your handbag to organise it - she was rattling on enthusiastically and Charlie asked her about the dimensions - "Oh, I don't know off hand," was her reply! The only...

    Be prepared

After CS said they'd send a label I rang and said I'd be happy to keep the wrong set if future auto deliveries could be the very high I ordered and they said ok. Refunded my p & p on this first set too as they'd sent wrong item.
