I didn't know that :giggle: I'm utterly irritated by most things going wrong except the few real spectaculars of Jill Franks on QVC (tipping up a dish just out of the oven with her bare hands, spitting food out on air etc.). Thanks for the insight, makes JVM sound even worse though.

Thank you for the response. Joanne is very, very far from perfect herself in a variety of ways so I do think her exacting standards are a bit high handed. I don't like people being criticised when they can't answer back on air. I'm sure she's very popular up there but I don't know how producers...

I, on the very few occasions I was commanded to speak to her, called the old biddy Grandmama. Mrs Bates gets called Mother and she does indeed know why. She would cut out my tongue if I called her mummy but sometimes she gets called mammy just to wind her up.

When Amica's dog was stolen Pippa/Pipa tweeted about it several times and said it was her friend's dog and the friend is terminally ill. I devoutly hoped it was just her gigantic mouth in overdrive and this was an exaggeration and I still hope that.
