    Alice Cooper

He most certainly is not! Alice is an American legend and pioneer of shock rock and Ozzie Osbourne is the Brit God of metal and bat killer. That woman on QVC is most certainly not an erudite, entertaining and extremely intelligent person like Alice nor does she seem to grasp the importance of...

    how old is?

I am not trying to say "Do Not Buy, Evil!", just chucking out the information for people to make their choices. Basso however, I just lose any restraint when he appears.

    how old is?

He uses real fox fur in his "proper" collections. I don't care for that at all. He is a talented person and quite charming but I wouldn't buy his stuff.

what is this 'total contributions £ 0.00 feature all about please?

I really think you're wrong about this. Theatrical yes, actually giving a stuff, no.

    Nail Treatments

I file with polish on too! I used to be a biter and my nail line is very distorted so if I followed them my paws would look even worse. One of the main reasons for filing to the centre even with a crystal file is it reduces if not avoids getting nail dust trapped under the corners which can make...

Red Carpet Manicure - farce continues

Did you actually contact Darren Crook directly? While sending it back was QVC screwing up I do think he'd be interested to know about your experience.

    Spelling?

A morsel of accuracy wouldn't go amiss with their spelling.

    Nail Treatments

Filing at an angle usually helps, it's the other way that can do damage and no matter what LD says for a variety of reasons it is better to file from side to centre. The easiest and as it happens the strongest shape is the squoval but at the moment it's not in fashion. However that's what works...

Debbie Greenwood - Quiz Hostess With The Mostest!

I'd add snide to that if I may.

    Nail Treatments

If the crystal files aren't helping with splitting try using them tipped at an angle not perpendicular to the nail. It's even gentler that way and wonky nails need a gentle touch.

    Nail Treatments

My nails went to pot because of a vitamin deficiency but weren't ever brilliant to start with. I found using the Leighton Denny files reduced the breakages and splitting. I use Trind products as they don't set off my allergies.

Red Carpet Manicure - farce continues

This really is too bad. How do they stay in business if this how they cope with what should have been a minor blip in the vast scheme of QVC's daily running? Just like every year they seem surprised by Christmas and can't manage the increase in orders. They really are the joke that doesn't make...

Red Carpet Manicure - farce continues

Don't let it go under your nail Nikki, but do make sure the whole free edge is capped, meaning just the skinny edge. The purpose of the tape is to keep the gel off the skin. As the gel cures it shrinks very slightly and if the edge isn't sealed then this will lead to lifting. This is the same...

Red Carpet Manicure - farce continues

Tape the tips with micropore tape or pull the finger tip down and use the brush from behind the nail edge (best way any time) or just let them grow for a few weeks :giggle:

Red Carpet Manicure - farce continues

I keep the brush almost vertical to help keep the coats very thin.

Red Carpet Manicure - farce continues

I'm still waiting. I've never been a fan of QVC customer service. Many of the operators are very pleasant and helpful but their policies are just unhelpful a lot of the time and should there be a problem like this, you see how disorganised they are.

Red Manicure TSV Order - You may not get what you expected!!

You were had. 500ml acetone in Ireland €8, approx £7 and Ireland is very expensive for everything.

    Jill Franks Handbag Queen

Oh I wish you hadn't mentioned that and reminded me of the Jill in the kitchen incident. You see for all my faults, one thing I don't do is laugh when people get hurt, I don't suppress it, I genuinely don't find it funny. Until JF took a dish out of the oven and plonked it on the counter, took...

    Julia's Book

Over the years Julia has made many "jokes" that may not have sat well with the target. So she just has to take it now as graciously as possible, although it's not an adjective that I would ever think to use about JR.

    Bodyblade

I think so. Bodyblade is the original of this type of product.
