In the old days (been watching almost from day 1) I had some amazing jewellery bargains from QVC. Really substantial gold chains for around 45 quid, heavy silver pieces and excellent value gold rings.
Also, they would ALWAYS show the carat weight of their gold chains etc so at least you knew if...
So agree too about cherry picking some of Kim's stuff. I've got a black tunic top that sooooooo flattering, it hangs beautifully over jeans, is really simple and I always get asked if I've lost weight when I wear it.
For some strange reason, Kim's clothes are incredibly cool (as in not hot!) to...
Was I dreaming tonight or did I notice quite deep lines around Liz E's mouth when the light hit her the wrong way? Still looks good though and yes, I did order the TSV.
For me it would have to be in the good old days when Paul Lavers used to make Ali Young literally cry with laughter, she was speechless sometimes........now there's a miracle!!
If I remember (and I do) her father was a gun maker, she often used to talk about him and his skills. Reading the bumph on her website makes it sounds like he fashioned the Crown Jewels.:talking:
The lovely Amica was on earlier with Ali Young. She was looking very well and Alison said that Amica is on the road to recovery and the prognosis is very good, GREAT news :sun::sun::sun::sun::sun:
plus, I'm sure Alison said that Amica is nearing (or is already) 50, she looks wonderful if she is...
On the Pilates hour earlier, Anne Dawson looked really radiant and so much younger than her 51 years. It was around 8pm.
Her hair was lovely, skin smooth and bright, lovely smile. All credit to you Anne x:flower::flower::flower:
We've got 100s of kids and over the years I've noticed that nearly always, teenagers will ask me if I'd like them to take their shoes off when they visit, it's very good of them but they can do whatever, like the previous poster said you can always clean up after but tbh, no one has ever trodden...
It's absolutely essential on an open forum to be able to crticise things like hand cream, not so sure about very personal criticism of presenters though, although I'm sure I've been guilty of it in the past. I can't really see why putting yourself in the public domain means that it can be open...
So glad to hear that the gorgeous ladylike Amica is feeling up to going back to work. My very, very best wishes to both her and the equally gorgeous Alison xxxxx
....so worn that they're see-through. I like Julia but honestly it's not a good look. In the Kipling hour, "the leggings" (they've got a life of their own!) looked just like a pair of tights and that there should have been a skirt on top, they were all baggy and properly see through.
C'mon...
Sorry, I'm always banging on about this but...............please support your local butcher. They're a dying breed and nearly always the meat is so much better than supermarket equivilent stuff and very often it's cheaper. They will cut exactly what you want and give advice on cooking.Soon...
Like Springflower, I also grew up believing spinel to be a poor quality gemstone, or maybe even a manmade stone.
I was very fortunate to be left my great aunts engagement ring which has the most beautiful bright pink stone in it, which, until recently I really didn't realise that it's a spinel...
