Had just tuned into tsv to find it is Zumba (again!). Now, is it just me, or does anyone else find this shrieking and screaming every couple of seconds offputting :mysmilie_486:

It's nice to see the QVC presenters demonstrating it - They look so unfit! :)

Debbie Flint looks she will collapse at any moment from exhaustion.

It's the forced jollity that makes me switch off. But then I am in a very bad mood today

hate zumba and i love excersize waste of my money the music the steps just hate it

Hate Zumba, can't stand watching it,I get enough excersize walking around the shops.

She said she would probably collapse earlier in the evening, before the TSV was aired at midnight.
She said they might find her in a puddle on the floor when they came in in the morning lol

I switch on last night to find Debbie F doing Zumba in a bright kim & co top with leggings and trainers :cheeky a very strange fitness kit.

Just watched a bit with Miceal. He really is short isn't he? Matthew Cutler towers over him. Think the cropped hair suits Matthew - much preferable to the high-lighted bouffant. Can only watch for a few minutes - far too frenetic for me

I bought the TSV when Zumba first 'hit' QVC ........... and a year later - it's still in the box. I've not even unwrapped the DVDs.

it's not just you. do they shriek at classes? can't stand it personally. the whooping, the music or the steps. not to mention what they demo on qvc is about a tenth of the speed you're supposed to do it.

I hate it too. Am also in a pig of a mood today and the last thing I need is a load of Lycra clad types leaping about whooping!

I too bought it the first time it was on and didn't get on at all with it. I'm not totally uncoordinated but the steps weren't exactly as easy as they made out and I soon gave up. Maybe it's different in a real class, but it wasn't for me.

They can all whoop off as far as I'm concerned *grumble*

It's probably great fun to do, but watching it is annoying to the max. They all look so smug. "check ME out I knw all the zumba steps aren't I great?". I generally avoid jollity and show-offyness so it's to be expected I suppose.

And I've formed a healthy dislike of the girl who insists on having just one leg of her trackie bottoms rolled up to the knee. Get over yourself poppet.

The current demo is hilarious. "I'm not a dancer!" he keeps saying. Yeah, we can see that...

Poor mee-hall said he "wasn't so sure" about the bit where they put their hands above their head and swirl them around flamenco style. Looked right up your street to me darling... Enjoying it a bit TOO much if you ask me.

Then he started "freestyling" and shouting things out like "lets partaaaaaaay with zumbaaaaaaa". Shades of Neil Kinnock shouting "alriiiiiiight!..... Are ya feelin' alriiiiiiight!!" " to the audience at the labour party conference just before th election he lost.

Cringe.

Never bought any of these sets, know I will never ever actually use them. I do go to Zumba in a local church hall. No we do not whoop, we do clap after each song. I totally hated PE in school and tried a few similar like things as an adult, never mad about them. I love dancing around so Zumba is for me. Do it twice a week at £3.50 each one, come out sweating like mad so I must be really going for it.

Perhaps its a masonic thing

I think Ive mentioned this before but when Im at the gym and Zumba class is in full swing there is one lady who is about a second behind everyone else, she puts me in mind of Corporal Jones in Dads Army
