yankee smells for Christmas

Im burning a new tart flavour tonight Dazzler.. Midsummer Night.. Its actually really nice.. Got it in a set.. I do love the Gingerbread one though.. Oh yum :wave2:

I'm not keen on that one it smelt strange to me but I like the midsummers night one its got a rather manly smell to me a bit aftershavy! if you know what I mean

ooh Scampdog you are so right,kids smell lovely after a bath dont they!! my 3 always have new pjs for Christmas eve too,my mum always did that for me and my brothers,I love Christmas eve with the kids and hubby,we always have a nice meal and a chill out.I always have my yankees burning and a real tree is a must in our house,love the smell that greets you when you come downstairs in the morning

We have a Yankee Candle shop a few miles away, and everything is always half price. 55p for a tart and 80p for a votive. The jars and everything are half price, I can't walk past it without going in, so I have a massive collection. I love the mulling spices and eggnog is scrummy. Am burning a Brazillian fruity one at the moment, and have the cranberry plugged in. Smells wonderful.

Ooh I forgot about a real tree smell !. Not sure waht I will do this year my two have left home so I guess I will miss out !, but I will have to buy new pjs for them !.

I must admit I was a bit miffed yesterday with Yankee Candles. The 4pm show had a set of 3 medium jar candles one of which was Gingerbread which I LOVE and which apparently has been "retired" so once that set had gone then no more Gingerbread. The set was £43!! They had other sets of 3 medium jar candles for £38. I know its only a fiver but I don't see why the difference in price if the candles are the same size.

really good website, have used them for a while, and they have good offers at times. Much better prices then QVC
I use balsam and ceder for the real christmas tree smell and I love it. Tend to prefer the more natural smells though

should really mention that someone here got me onto this website

I have just received a christmas tree scented one from Yankee Doodle, it's called Sparkling Snow and smells like you're in the middle of a huge snowy pine forest, very clean and fresh. :flower:

does anyone know what silver bells or egg nog smell like please??
may be tempted to make a purchase....an investment obviously ladies....

Not tried the egg nog.

The silver bells is like a Christmas Wreath but more woodland iykwim, It would have gave me a headache cause those scents do so I gave it to my friend as she is ok with everything but it gave her a headache too.

Hi Daisy, can I be cheeky and ask that you PM me too as I'm not a VIP member and love swapping.

I thought the prices on QVC were too high as well, especially the set with the glass burner and 6 tarts, I think the burner was working out at about £11.00 when I know they can be about £8.00 tops in the shops then with their p&p on top!

Keep thinking on ladies though that there is a TSV coming up. I'm going to hang on in case they sell a large quantity of tarts at knock down prices! - if not I'll be tempted to order the newer fragrances from Yankee Doodle. Please keep your reviews of these coming.

My all time festive favourite though is Jack Frost. x
