I'm always interested in seeing what others are eating. I was a cook for a good while and tend to stick with simple foods. If we already have a thread for this please let me know.

This is ramen. I didnt have enough veggies to make full servings so I used up what I had. It's essentially leftovers served on top of ramen, but it's amazing.

We just got curry flavored ramen here so I got some of that but havent used it yet.

What are you guys having for dinner/supper?

Made an omlette today with a large helping of curry paste as an ingredient.

Was OKish, but won't try this again. But I like experimenting.
I'm like that. One thing I only ever did the once. Cheese on toast, with English mustard instead of butter and a layer of same on top of the cheese. I do like mustard, but not that much ;)

Very simple. Pasta (spaghetti, size number 5) with a garlic clove gently fried in butter and olive oil. At the end, I add a little of the hot pasta water to the spaghetti. Cracked black pepper on top. A piece of apple strudel (shop bought) for pudding.

If it's fine weather on a Friday, I go to the chippie lunch time for cod and chips, except I never buy the chips!

That's because I could not eat fish AND chips.

Then I just have a packet of crisps for tea (I've never called it supper lol) as I am still full (plus 300g of my home-made yogurt, and today a mint magnum as a treat) :)

The portion of fish must be sizeable and I'm supposing you eat all the batter. Do they charge you less without the chips?

Yes, I just pay for the fish, and as soon as I walk in they put it into the fryer for me lol, without having to queue.

Actually, it is not very large. I buy the medium size and today's was only 286g / 10 oz for £8-25, which is very expensive compared with other parts of the country. And the better is the best part of it.

Fish and chips would cost almost £12.

Tonights was Mayflower Chinese Beef Curry, Lidl 12 month matured Basmati cooked in rice cooker and three mini pancake rolls.

Not had this Beef Curry before, definately reminded me of takeaway Chinese.

Sounds good
