So my currant contract 18 months coming to an end.
Signed in to VM and said your currant contract coming to an end, so offer I accepted online and got the emails show new contract and price last night.
Today I get an email showing the new contract is £9 more than I am paying now.

Phoned up and girl tries to tell me the offer I got last night was only until 27th March when my old contract ends!! No!!!! My new contract with emals and PDS from last night shows what I accepted.

I am waiting for them to phone me back and find out what the F*ck they are trying to play at.

I am spitting fury.

Okay, no longer spitting.

Phoned up, said I was unhappy and outraged. So, nice India lady offered me a much better deal that the one I originally accepted.

With no price increase on the 1st April 2025
VM are pretty good for bargaining with. We never accepted the price they told us. Unfortunately as we were going to move we had to change providers and took the Sky puck but it's rubbish and can't wait until October so we can go back to VM.

I was through to the different department when I first phoned. Second time it was I am thinking of leaving, and she was the one gave me the much better deal.

I always phone up when a contract due for renewal and got good deals, but I thought the online just click would be okay. No, phone talk to a human, and it will work out she cancelled the other contracts for me.

When my contract is due for renewal, I always ring a few days before the old one runs out and I start bartering. 😉 I’m with Sky for just my broadband and landline because I don’t want or need to pay to watch television (barring the over-expensive licence fee 🙄) and I usually manage to strike up a deal. It might only be a few pounds a month but it all adds up over the 18 months that the contract is for.

I always got anxious when the renewal time came. I once got an Indian call centre who was pushing me to take the mobile phone Volt, which I did not need or want. She must have been on commission for it. Phone back next day got the Scottish call centre, no hassle and very simple. I started by saying I do not want the mobile Volt!

I just thought it was simpler to do it online, No!
