was watching on small TV in kitchen where she sported the tangoed Bette Davis look but have now moved to main set where she looks like the ghost of Bette Davis.
So wrong on all counts.
I am terrified of looking like a clown myself and think if the "expert" gets it so wrong what chance do I a mere mortal have.

I admit flicking over and thinking WTF!!!!!! The make up made her look OLD AND WRINKLY , yes Whatever Happen To Baby Jane.

So was it Frankie from Bobbi Brown? Or AY? If Frankie, then she must have really p*ssed her off big time. Personally if you want a bold bright lip, tone down the eyes(soft bronzes or soft peach who have been my choice for the yellow dress). The dark blue and heavy eyeliner, not a good look on a woman of her age.

The lipstick was LD that ones with the matching nail varnish she mentioned it at the start of the show. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and just had to keep watching

I agree soft neutral eyes if you have a strong, bright lipstick. I would go further and say with a bright yellow frock like that Ali should have gone for a neutral lip and a stronger eye perhaps. The yellow with the red was an attack on my eyes.
