Wet and Forget

I've used Spear and Jackson Spray and Leave and I got 2 bottles and a sprayer from Amazon for less than the price of Wet and Forget. Just make sure you buy spray and leave and not the patio cleaner (as it's not as good). I used it on my caravan, patio, fence, garden furniture etc and can't complain. I also used it on my mum's conservatory and it got rid of all the green stuff around the window joints. I'm sure wet and forget is good but it's a lot of cash and the active ingredients are probably the same in all products.

I used Spray and Leave when I couldn’t find a deal on Wet & Forget and I agree that it is good. 👍 However I only need to do mine once a year when I use W&F. I found that the Spray and Leave needed a top up later in the season. However, that might have been due to the weather that year so, if I run out of W&F and can’t find a deal, I would buy the Spear & Jackson one again.

Has anyone tried Jeyes Fluid, my neighbour used to use it on her tarmac drive, and mine needs treating now, I have lots of green stuff on it?
I’ve just found this about Jeyes Fluid but it doesn’t mention algae. I guess it might work on algae though as it’s an organism assuming that the “green stuff” you mentioned is algae.

Fluid is a brand of disinfectant fluid for external use only. It is predominantly used for removing bacteria, while gardeners have found it effective at cleaning paths, patios, greenhouses, driveways, and drains - particularly of moss. With cautious use, it can also remove weeds.

Patio Magic. Have used that myself, takes a good few weeks to make a noticeable impact.

Unable to compare with wet and forget as I have never tried that.
As soon as it dries it starts to work. Then everytime it rains it removes the green algae and eventually the black spots
