I can’t take them either as I have asthma and high blood pressure.
I think quite a few here will have read my moans about our local GPs. Enough said when I was taken off co-codamol (which worked without side effects for me) and put on ibuprofen as, apparently, too many people abuse codeine.Yes GP told hubby not to use Ibuprofen and I can't take it as I have asthma
Went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and a lady was waiting for her antibiotics.
The pharmacist did ask if the GP had told her not to take statins when she was taking antibiotics.
Now I wasn't told this when I picked up my antibiotics in May for my chest infection.
The pharmacist today wasn't the same one as in May but he was the same one who asked me if the GP/asthma nurse had told me to rinse my mouth after taking my inhaler.
I cannot take them as I have asthma and for some reason they gave me cramps in the stomach.
It depends on which antibiotics you were prescribed, they don't all interact with statins.Went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and a lady was waiting for her antibiotics.
