The water pipes to your house are plastic these days, usually blue.

I've been making yogurt for 10 years or more, and the containers (original style) keep degrading, and I have to keep replacing them.

Only yesterday, a white lid shed lots of small bits of plastic from the thread into the yogurt, and I got a mouthfull (spat it out of course) but probably swallowed small bits.

I've replaced many pots, and as the old ones are no longer available, I am now using a mix of old and new designs.

The outer containers also degrade and become porous, and the lids just fall to pieces. so I've had to replace these as well.

Despite what SCW says, very poor quality.

My parrot has stainless steel - I can’t give him anything else .
