Historically, the tanned look was one sported by proles.
I've never dabbled with fake tan personally. A combination of the smell and the absolute faff of it has seen to that It's either the real deal from holidays or cheating with sheer nude tights for meGod it's her, the Fairy woman. I didn't see her flogging fake tan which is probably just as well
I'm long past caring about brown legs and I'm with Toril about the oompah loompah look. Apart from the Decleor one, fake tans turn me orange or yellow so I'll stick with white. If it's OK for Bry it's OK for me.

Really?? I'm a billionaire and I didn't know itMediterranean women like to stay tan free so they look wealthy as tans reflect the lower poorer classes they think

Unfortunately my tan palaver was on my face and décolleté although I guess I could have worn black tights over my head but I could have been arrested as a possible criminal.Several years ago I tried fake tan (I'm really fair) I spent 2 weeks in August in black opaque tights!
That’s the fake tan ditched then! No mine is just an off white tint have never gone for the full Mediterranean look.Am thinking of going to Italy next year so just as well.I am from Italian/Maltese it was a wealthy relative who told me this over lunch one day in Ravello.
of course I cannot prove this to be so but my Italian and Maltese relatives have told me the same thing. I had a friend who has since died, her husband taught Italian, and they went to Italy on average three times a year for a month. My mother told me that he said the same thing. I think it was/is mainly wealthy Italians who thought this. I know they tended to sit in the shade a lot. There will be people on here living in Italy who may have heard this. That’s the fake tan ditched then! I have family in Rome and I live in Northern Italy. As far as I know, male and female Italians work hard on their tans, doing it the natural way and they look beautiful.Mediterranean women like to stay tan free so they look wealthy as tans reflect the lower poorer classes they think
Me too. Have had many disasters but find the Gatineau glow just enough to let me have my legs out in public. The rest of my body I just leave to nature but my legs refuse to change colour no matter how often they see the sun, so I cheat on them using this a couple of times at first then a couple of times a week and so far so good.Cont.! Something happened on the site? Trousers but have got some slight crops (daring?!) a slight colour on the ankle is good.

Yes, precisely where it came from. I know those who told me knew what they were talking about, especially back in the day.It was Coco Chanel who way back started the tanning idea amongst the well-to-do. Before that, only peasants tanned as they worked in the fields. Early 1920s she when at the Rivera with one of her wealthy lovers sunbathed got a tan and with her fashion designs caught on.
Which one is worse ?Wrong boyband Donna, it was Brian McFadden that she was married to. God knows how I know or remembered that though
I would like to have seen her presenting her tanning product and coming across well, because I lost respect for her after those Fairy adverts!God it's her, the Fairy woman. I didn't see her flogging fake tan which is probably just as well
