I live just up th road from there, where the BBC is/was, but I've never been in 8th day. I always imagine it to be full of hippies in open toed sandals.

Ooo no, its great, the staff in there aren't dressed up like your typical office worker and no hippies although they do get a diverse mix of customer. I tend to go when I am dressed up as your typical office worker (because I am!) and do feel less than stylish compared to some of the people who shop and work there

You are just a few miles away from me. I'm just outside of Manchester about 15-20 minutes away.
