Caught two minutes of the 10pm show and it consisted of the model gushing and being really ott. Luckily her mic batteries sounded like they were dying. Ive never seen a model do it before. Very, very irritating.

In regards to her jewellery range, I always feel as if she is stating that 'SHE' has the real thing from Ernest (of course!) and us 'nobodys' who want the same thing have to settle for fake lookie-likeys....

I totally agree. She comes on in all her finery, dripping in diamonds and we should consider ourselves very privileged to be able to buy cheap replicas of her jewellery. How bl**dy arrogant. I've got my own jewellery reminding me of special times in MY life thank you very much.

Debbie is there spraying herself non stop with all the different perfumes,hope she's not taking a taxi home,the poor driver will be gassed!

I was amazed to see Tova , Jilly plus the model , apparently spraying lots of perfume one on top of the other and then deeply inhaling and looking blissful !!!! Do you think they have special dummy bottles containing just water for this performance ? Otherwise the smell must be truly awful !!!!

Heaven help whoever stays in Tova's hotel suite immediately after her. She's always going on about 'layering' the parfum with body lotion and bathing products, not to mention spraying Handsome on her pillow, so she can feel 'close to Ernie while she sleeps'. The room must reek for days afterwards.

i really like tova and always have. having watched all her shows for many years, i can remember how the jewellery came into being. it started with viewers admiring her jewellery and asking where/if they could get something similar. as she sold make up and skincare, she openly said on air she wasn't sure it was a good idea but would give it a try.

it took off, unfortunately for me because there is no make up at all now only skincare and -to me - boring diamonique. it's a real shame because the make up was really nice and she did fantastic tsvs.

before someone says she's just out to milk it, i'm not denying she agreed to a marketing opportunity and no doubt is delighted with its success but it was NOT her idea so it was definitely not a case of her lording it over the rest of us.

it's also not only tova who does this. i really like joan rivers too and she also sells replicas of her own mega expensive jewellery and always has done. she occasionally brought the real thing with her but usually said it was in a vault somewhere.

Speaking of Joan Rivers - haven't seen her on Q for quite some time now. Anyone remember her doing a skincare range? It didn't last long. She even commented that surgery was all very well for lifting the skin but it was her products that kept it smooth and glowing :mysmilie_483:

Gotta hand it to Tova - she's the ultimate sales girl and has succeeded with everything she's put her name to. Others of bigger status in the UK have tried and failed - Joan Collins was flogging replicas of her jewellery a few years back but it was all very fleeting.
