I hate and always have hearts on jewellery or clothes. I could say the same for crosses too.

A friend's husband had a fake ceramic skull which he had on a shelf behind the chair he always sat in. She had no idea where he got it and was so used to it, she never noticed it unless someone pointed it out to her.

Oh my, those were the days. My first "proper" perfume was Pagan for nights out dancing, and Gingham for the office. Mum always loved Evening in Paris and Granny was a Californian Poppy girl !
Oh my goodness, I was a Pagan girl too, and loved Gingham. I think my first posh perfume was Rive Gauche but for work it was usually Stevie B. My Mum wore Joy.

I got a Boots voucher for Xmas and yesterday shopping I decided that I might buy a fragrance - Very had Roberto Cavalli on offer recently and I loved the look of the bottle but some of the reviews said that it was overpowering, some said the fragrance didn't last, some said it did so too much of a risk to buy blind. I sprayed some onto one of those cards yesterday and intially I really liked it, but I thought I'd smell it a little bit later in the day to see whether I still liked it - I didn't as it dried down into an overpowering rather nauseating stench. I decided I'd just buy another bottle of Amor Amor which I know I like though it's staying power isn't great. I was shocked to find that the large bottle was £69! So I passed on that, the facial sauna with aromatherapy oils I wanted was out of stock and the 8 hour cream lip balm was £23, so I decided to look online later. I got the facial sauna, the Amor Amor was £44 for the same sized bottle and I thought sod it and I bought the lip balm too. At least with a big bottle of perfume I can spray it freely!

I've been thinking about perfumes recently and in 1981 I remember being gifted a bottle of perfume from my boyfriend's older sister. I really liked it, it came in a bottle a la Lentheric with a cobalt blue lid with gold lettering. I fancy that the name began with an A but of course I could be wrong but this is bugging me big time. I've done a thousand Google searches and it's not anything Lentheric has ever done, Yardley has come up blank and I doubt whether anyone here can help with so little to go on...but I've got to try everything as it's driving me completely nuts. Clear glass bottle with blue plastic lid cheap and bought from a drugstore I would've thought.

I used to like hearts on clothes and on jewellery, but I've gone past that now. Last year I liked stars, but not this year. I don't like animal print any more either. It's been so over done.

I can’t help. Sorry. I hope someone can.

So do I and funnily enough I know a few years ago I remembered the name of it and found pics of it online, but now I've completely forgotten. I thought it was called Accent but it turns out that there was a perfume called Accent but it definitely wasn't this one looking at the pictures. I've seriously got to get this out of my mind but you know how it is when something's bugging you! I received it early 80s but it could well be a relic from the 70's. It wasn't a famous name and was probably something that was regifted as I didn't know my fella's sister that well, it was just a token gift so I didn't feel left out, but it was actually quite a pleasant pong!

Maybe she confused it with him!

My mum used to have a small bottle in her handbag, it just said Pagan on it. I used to dab it on now and then. I remember Gingham when I was a teenager.
