i know people who have been ordering it on Q cut ect

Is this a Debbie Flint perk? The reward you get for heaping constant praise on her? It better not be or I'll be joining the ranks of people who are complaining about her and her favouritism, and quite rightly so.

I've noticed on the tv guide that although Tarte have an hour at midnight, they don't have another one until 5pm. I'm sure the TSV will appear in various hours throughout the day but thought it was a bit of a long gap.

Strangely when I was in Ulta in April no one seemed interested in the LG or Mally stands and I know LG didn't last long in Sephora either.

I must admit I was the only one at the Laura Geller stand when I went in on several occasions (couldn't comment on Mally or Tarte) but there was an offer on a LG highlighter & application brush, which in the store I got mine in only had one left when I arrived.

Probably stocks are low and it's Monday as well not as much audience as at the weekend.

Tarte will undoubtedly be on the Morning Show, the 2 hour Beauty Month Grand Opening, and the Lunchtime Show, before they have their second dedicated hour of the day. Given the size of the Tarte range and how quickly it sells out when it's on air, they are probably wanting to make sure that the maximum exposure is given to the stuff they have the most stock of (ie: the TSV). They have the 4 dedicated hours as their viewing figures are at their peak, and they will likely also make an appearance in Beauty Tried and Tested at 8pm. I think Lee McIlravey have a busy day all told.

Has anyone tried the foundcealer?

No not tried it, but what a ridiculous name for a product! I suppose "condation" is no better! They need to work on the gimmicky names. I hate "tartlettes" but likewise hate the terms "Mallinistas" and "Geller Girls" as well. Although I have to confess to really liking certain brands, I am not defined by the brand, I do not follow the crowd like sheep. Once the slap is on the face- as long as it looks good then who is going to care (or ask) what brand of make up we wear?

Has anyone tried the foundcealer?

I tried it a while ago, but I sent it back. I couldn't really tell you about the texture because the colour was so obviously wrong for me. I ordered the Light but it was far too yellow (ofcourse QVC have just used their own Fair Light Medium so I can't tell the Tarte name for the shade I tried). So I went to the Tarte website and the Foundcealer is no longer there so maybe it's been discontinued? No doubt the presenters will tell us if it's now QVC exclusive!

I was sorry to part with the tool though when I sent it back. I think I'll just have to go for the Fair shade in Tarte from now onwards because even if it's yellow based it seems to blend away better in the light shade.

I'd say that the Foundcealer and the best selling Amazonian Clay foundation give fuller coverage than I need. The CC stick I tried is easier to blend to a finer coverage even though it goes on like a concealer stick. My preferred technique for foundation is to whack it on, blobs on forehead, chin and cheeks and blend with fingertips or Beauty Blender, then I buff with a clean dry foundation brush. If I want full coverage make up out in the sun I still go back to the Missha BB which claims to give spf 40 protection.

The brush that comes with the Amazonian Clay Foundation http://www.qvcuk.com/tarte-Amazonia....html?sc=SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-9-_-205118 is one of my favourites and seems to buff and blend all of the foundations I've tried it with. I can recommend it.

I don't know how they have ordered on Q cut as it's not letting you choose a shade.

I ordered by qcut ( going away on holiday tomorrow and didn't want to miss this ) but no colour options were given . My order confirmation was for the tan option- which I think may be too dark so rand chat services and they've changed my order to the medium shade .

Smashbox has changed a lot since Estee Lauder bought them over. In Boots all over the UK have their own site with deals quite a lot. But the quality is not as good, it looks quite boring on the stands. Now I have bought the eyeliners, the self sharpening ones and love them.

Oh no, June is Beauty month. I must put myself down for overtime and try to stay away from my ipad, trouble is I use it to relax and de-stress. The overtime will help to pay for all those easy pays too. My once healthy bank account is dwindling somewhat.

I always think I have everything I need now and that I won't be tempted but am starting to accept that is not the case.

I never buy anything from Q with a foundation/concealer in the pack (except LG B&B in Fair or BM original in Medium) as nearly all have a yellow base which make me too sallow.I bought the BM Bareskin in Bare Satin ( in a shop) which again is not great but love the brush! The best foundation both in colour and texture I have used in a long long time is YSL Le Teint Encre De Peau Co. BR40 so am sticking with that!

I think I'm going to go for this, I'm using their colour sticks at the moment and I really like them (despite the colours being very similar) I'm on long term sick from work at the moment and have bought waaaay too much recently but I don't care :)

I very rarely post (I read) but I've been watching Q a LOT recently and starting to see what everyone is talking about.
