Really? I always thought it was to get irate with anyone who didn't share your opinions to the letter, and browbeat them into submission.

And for God's sake DON'T find shopping telly funny in the slightest.

I can't say I've seen his paintings, but if the one at the top of this thread is anything to go by, I don't find it appealing. That one looks like a fuzzy photo to me. It's flat....there's hardly anything going on in it...I like my paintings to contain a little action - whether it's the drama of the environment or the drama of the light and the weather. So much more could have been done in that painting.
