Del Boy Flint has just told us to buy 2 sets of Honora bracelets at £54 per set. This would get you 24(yes 24) bracelets, which she wants you to wear on each wrist identical colours to make a cuff on each wrist. Honestly is there nothing she will not say to make a sale.

I suppose it makes a change from the bus stop people and lollipop lady.

What is this idiot going to come out with next? I can't watch her anymore so miss her words of wisdom. Love coming on here to see what claptrap she has been spouting!

Having worked in facae to face sales, for a huge high street technology chain, I can avow that the pressure to sell and upsell, is immense. I can't see it being any different for QVC presenters; they are, essentially, sales people, albeit in a more glamorous environment. I would think they also have targets and, should they not at least meet them, the big boss will want to know why.

I agree Louise sales are an agressive area and I dont envy anyone having to make a salary out of it.

However other presenters are able to sell with a much more softly softly sales pitch - I think we all have the impression that DBF would sell her granny for the skin of a flea given half the chance.

However maybe the average (not us lot ofcourse!) Q viewer does not realise that she is as bad as she is and is taken in by it.

Not a bit wonder people end up in debt or have 3000 Kipling handbags

I`m certain a lot of Q viewers wear blinkers or refuse to live in the real World. We`ve seen it before where viewers look upon presenters as friends and swallow the hype, join their FB groups, defend their every move etc etc. In the past we`ve had people on here who bought because they thought presenters were like friends and they didn`t want to upset them etc. DF to my mind has no scruples and is as hard faced as they come and is a manipulator, nice when it suits, a bolshie cow when it doesn`t and would obviously sell her soul for the right price.

I'm not so sure about this. It suggests that most QVC viewers are brain dead. The truth is they're not. If they are buying hundreds of Kipling bags that is their problem! Is the presenter supposed to tell people NOT to buy? Can't see that happening any time soon! It's up to individuals to manage their finances and willpower. IF they can't then they need to be put in a home.

I can't often say that I dislike someone, especially someone I have never met; however, I dislike DF! The reason? The way she mimics the viewers moaning about p&p, or that something didn't work when they weren't using it properly. How downright rude and arrogant is that? Has anyone else seen this? I switch off if she is on, and also Craig Rowe. He just plains annoys me!

I so agree with you MK, I always get the impression that she is sneering at the viewers.

She has just told us that in the upcoming show she will be presenting a cream at 383 quid for a jar. Will she dare to say buy two? Someone who can bear to watch her, please let us know if she has the nerve.

I agree Vienna
I've worked in the telly sales game ....some reps will sell their grannies ...seriously ....ruthless .....cold ...can't fathom it at all...telly sales fitted in with my two lads when at school ...could have unpaid leave and sick leave holidays unpaid etc .....wasn't my bread winner job thank God ....but we still had the thumbscrews ....no friends in that industry ....it got me out of the hse ...we had a little laugh ...the lady i worked with has since passed bless her ....she topped up her pension with the job ....if anybody was rude she called them ...an old goat ....and if anybody rude and said in a stroppy way ..." What ya selling " ..she would reply ..." A box of manners " ....then my world fell apart with some bereavements and I couldn't cope with it all anymore but it was a handy casual job for a mother and a pensioner ;0)'...:mysmilie_17:

Good job she wasn't on the Perricone show this evening then - would even Flinty have a pair big enough to suggest buying two or 'stocking up' on the hilarious £395 for 59mL bottle of grease they were flogging today. Out of interest, this comes to £6,694 per litre: one of the most expensive things I have found yet on QVC, or indeed anywhere. Bargain I say - one for the shelf, one for the cupboard, one for a present...well done if you got yours!!!

All I can hear when beauty shows are on is ...peptides ..this tides ....peptides anti ageing..melatigaloninininin .....glides on glides off ......:mysmilie_13: you get the picture

Where are the videos? I searched in vain, hoping to see how DF could persuade anyone to pay for something which, a reviewer writes elsewhere "smells of fish"

I would have thought that all that gunk they have put on their hands, face & skin over the years, the presenters would have not aged at all, and have great skin. If it is all supposed to be as good as it is made out, there would only be a few "Brands" that clean up.

I'm afraid that she's one of three presenters that I can no longer watch, so all she's persuaded me to do is to turn off the television, rather than persuading me to buy multiple quantities of something to give to Uncle Tom Cobbley and all.

I watched part of a recent show with her and I thought that she seemed to have toned it down. Oops I shall consider myself lucky not to have seen worse! If the powers that be read this forum then this presenter is treading on thin ice given how she 'turns people off'. Bit counter-productive !

DB Flint has just mentioned that she once worked in a mortgage brokerage. Do you think she persuaded anyone to buy more than one house!!!

Perhaps not but I bet there are many in a bigger house (and bigger mortgage) than they had in mind when they first walked in the door.
