Peter Simon was really bigging up these 'designer' leather bags as if he was going to name drop someone we'd heard of (drum roll please). Of course he didn't he moved on and the details came up on a side bar with no brand at all on there. How do we know these are worth 250 quid? What big name high street store did you intercept to get hold of them? Home Bargains??

Hermes, the delivery company, not the bag designer.

Love Kenneth Williams’s man bag from Carry On Cruising…This £39.99 bag was meant to be £450 pounds, he says.. So was Giant Haystacks…. I‘ve shown you some of the biggest designers, he preens..Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk.. Leighton Rees…Rolaand from Grange Hill…Oliver Hardy…Ho De Koiture…I‘ve seen a £10,000 bag…Not that I’m comparing them. You don’t need me here…TOO RIGHT!!!

This bag should have been hundreds of Turkish lira…sorry…er pounds… By God, he’s full of shyt…, Right?? Okay???
Some of the stitching on the bag is very shoddy, and such grotty colours, but they are high end designer. Can he substantiate any of the claims he makes about celebrity names buying this crap?

That toy has reminded me of George and Mildred

There was one Epsiode when Tristram wanted a dog, Jeffery didn’t want to get a dog, but then Jeffrey come home one day, with a toy dog looking quite simular to that, This Dog would walk around the table and go Woof, Jeffrey said it was a bonus as it didn’t need to go for a walk or go to toilet

They clearly don't realise that a 'designer' bag usually shows the designer's name, either discreet or emblazoned all over it. That's usually why we buy them, and the fact that they are (in my experience) generally of a very high quality. Selling a cheap and cheerful bag is fine but don't equate it with Michael Kors.

Ive never « got » the allure of designer anything even in my teens when buying a pair of Levi’s and sitting in a bath so they would shrink to fit was the in thing I didn’t Get It 😔

To late to Édit my post
i did buy cheep skin tight boys jeans from the market but you had to be megga careful not to kneel down in them or they would spilt at the knees ( no stretch in the fabric in those days) which was definitely not then the fashion statement it is now 😊
