Between myself and my mum we have four pairs of Morganite Earrings and a Morganite Pendant all set in 9ct Rose Gold.
Both pairs of round brilliant cut earrings are now clear. The emerald cut earrings are very clear and the gold now looks yellow and not rose. The trilliant cut earrings still have some slight colour but they have definately got paler and the pendant still looks pink but it is paler than it was.
All have been stored in boxes when not being worn, they've not been left lying in the sun!!
So morganite fades then??? I knew Kunzite was liable to fading but not morganite!! Has this happened to anyone else?
All these were bought from Rocks TV, the oldest piece will be about two years old.
