I agree. The range no longer agrees with my skin, especially the skin tonic.
They’ve fiddled about with things too much for my liking….
The skin repair, the skin tonic and I believe the eye bright.
I‘m keeping a very close eye on superskin…. I love it but not going to risk a re-formulated product that is rubbish.

There are too few mega companies owning too many brands. Sadly they don't seem to give a hoot for what gave a brand it's unique selling points... it's all about driving down costs, eliminating efficiencies, and boosting the bottom line.
None of us really know whether successful = profitable. These changes could be how the brand survives... but at some point the tampering makes the survival meaningless... a brand should be more than what's on the tube/tin/tub.

I still have some of the original IBST when that runs out I will not be buying the revised. This is a range I once used regularly but if like Decleor if they are messing with the original versions I am not interested.

Someone has already left a one star review for the TSV saying that they will no longer buy LE due to the changes in the products.
Q will probably delete it shortly though.
This customer has left eleven 1* reviews for LE products since April so not a happy person. That's a lot of faff & money wasted, even if she returned everything the postage both ways would have been considerable.

This happens when someone has started a company, often named after them, & it soars like rocket. Big business gets interested & the person who came up with the idea while sitting at the kitchen table has a global brand; the initial concept along, everything that was special & personal, gets lost. I don't like Simon Wilson but I can understand why he keeps his company in London & keeps it small.

Q will probably delete it shortly though.
All Q need to do is change the rule to verified purchases only for leaving reviews. Good or bad, this kind of review has no credibility, imo.
They won't change the rule, either because their fossilized website and warehouse management system can't cope, or because they can't be @rsed. Or both.

I saw an Instagram post where someone congratulated Liz Earle/ Caroline A for winning best cleanser on the Q awards, saying don't ruin another product like you have ruined skin tonic, and eye bright etc, to be fair Caroline has replied and said they have removed PEGS ie polyethylene glycols following customer requests and the products are constantly evolving etc, but I am not convinced, if they mess around with superskin I won't bother with the range at all,

Everything about the Q looks fossilised. Very much analogue in a digital world.

I don`t use LE but their own website has an offer at the moment. It`s slightly dearer than the Q tsv but may be better for people who aren`t interested in body washes etc
It contains 7 items, 2 hot cloth cleansers, original and rose and lavender, IBS tonic, cica paste, calming botanical drops, orange blossom cleansing bar, rollerball superskin concentrate, cloth and bag.
£55 no p and p
